Possible cause and remedy
The message
The coffee machine needs descaling and/or the brew unit
filters are blocked.
SYSTEM FILLING UP START appears
in
the display again.
^ Switch the machine off with the On/Off button -.
^ Press the OK button for 2 seconds and call up
MAINTENANCE - DESCALE.
^ Descale the coffee machine.
^ Remove the brew unit and rinse under running water
(see "Cleaning and care - Brew unit").
If the fault message appears in the display again,
^ Degrease the brew unit (see "Cleaning and care - Brew
unit")
If the fault message appears in the display again,
^ Call the Service Department.
