APPENDIX B
Compatible USB Flash Drives
USB flash drives used for firmware upgrade and backup must be compatible with the DVR. If the USB
flash drive is not compatible, the message USB ERROR is reported, or the flash drive will not function as
expected. See the table below for a list of USB flash drives known to work well with the DVR.
NOTE
Format the USB flash drive for a FAT32 file system.
NOTE
You can backup up to 2 GB video data at a time with a USB backup. To backup additional data,
set the time and channel(s) you want, and restart a backup.
