4. Connecting your power cord

1. Connecting your Mouse and Keyboard
The PS/2 ports are located in the rear of
the PC.
• The green port is for connecting your
green PS/2 mouse.
• The purple port is for connecting
your purple PS/2 keyboard.
First connect the power cord to your
PC via the power port in the rear of
the PC.
Second connect the power cord to
your power source. Everex
recommends that you use a surge
protector to prevent any possible
electrical damage to your PC by power
surges.

2. Connecting your Display
The display port is located in the rear of
the PC.
• The blue port is for connecting your
display device. (i.e. LCD or CRT)

3. Connecting the Ethernet LAN
The RJ-45 port in the rear is for
connecting the PC to your network or
broadband modem.
( Sold Separately)
(Depending on the model, your computer’s components may vary and appear slightly different than those pictured.)
1. Optical Disc Drive Eject Button:
Press this button to eject optical disc tray.
2. USB Ports:
Supports up to two USB connections. Each connections can
support up to USB 2.0 speed (480 Mbps).
3. Microphone-In Jack:
Supports 3.5mm microphone connectors for recording or to
use voice control functions.

4. Headphone / Speaker Jack:

2. Power Switch:
Connect audio listening devices, such as headphones / speakers, to this jack.
Use this button to turn the gPC3 on and off.
• If the button is held down for one second. The system will enter Suspend
mode.
• If the button is held down for more than four seconds. The system will
power off. Please use this option with caution as damage may occur.
6. Power indicator Light:
When lit, the Power indicator illuminates to indicate that system power is on.
7. Hard Disk Drive Indictor Light:
This LED lights up to indicate that the hard drive is being accessed.
8. Reset Switch:
Press this button to hard reboot /reset the computer. Please use this option with
caution as damage may occur.
Use the supplied Power Cord to plug into the power socket and appropriate wall
outlet or power strip. Ensure that it is connected to a stable AC power source.
This switch turns on or off the PC’s power supply.
3. PS/2 Keyboard Connector:
For connecting your provided PS/2 keyboard to type characters.
4. VGA Port:
For connecting your display monitor (not Included) to this port.
5. USB Ports (4):
Connect USB devices to these ports to take advantage of the universal
functionality and flexibility of Plug and Play (PnP) technology. Each port is
capable of supporting up to USB 2.0 speed (480 Mbps).
6. Mic-In Jack :
For connecting a microphone (not Included) to your PC.
7. Line-Out/Speaker Jack:
For connecting the provided speakers to listen to audio playback.

8. Line-In Jack:
For connecting audio devices such as external CD/MP3 players (not Included) to
your PC for recording or playback on you PC.
9. PS/2 Mouse Port:
For connecting your provided PS/2 mouse to this port to allow cursor functions.
10. Parallel Port:
For connecting parallel devices such as a printer or scanner (not Included).
11. RJ45 LAN Port:
For connecting to your LAN, allowing you to access network services or the Internet via an Ethernet cable (not Included).
12. Expansion Slot Covers:
These covers can be removed to install add-on cards, as described later in the
manual.
13. Serial Port:
For connecting older serial modems or mouse (not Included).
14. Power Socket Voltage Toggle Switch:
This toggle switch allows the system voltage (115V/ 230V) appropriate to your
area. The toggle is preset to “115V” for operation within the U.S.
