ADJUSTING THE SPRING
PRELOAD
To adjust the spring preload, use the procedure described below.
Loosen counter-ring 1, rotate ring 2 clockwise to increase the spring preload (and
consequently the shock absorber preload)
or anticlockwise to decrease it.
After obtaining the desired preload, turn
counter-ring 1 until it stops against adjusting ring 2.
