Programming the Meter Using the Front Panel
Configuring Connection Setting
1. Press the Enter button when Cnct is in the A window. The Cnct screen appears.
2. Press the Right button or Down button to select a configuration.
The choices are:
• 3 Element Wye (3 EL WYE)
• 2.5 Element Wye (2.5EL WYE)
• 2 CT Delta (2 Ct dEL)
NOTE: If you are prompted to enter a password, refer to the
instructions earlier in this chapter.
3. When you have made your selection, press the Menu button twice.
4. The STOR ALL YES screen appears. Press Enter to save the setting.
Configuring Communication Port Setting
Port configuration consists of : Address (a three digit number), Baud Rate (9600; 19200; 38400; or
57600), and Protocol (Modbus RTU or Modbus ASCII).
1. Press the Enter button when POrt is in the A window.
The Adr (address) screen appears. You can either:
• Enter the address.
• Access one of the other Port screens by pressing the Enter button: press Enter once to access the
bAUd screen (Baud Rate); press Enter twice to access the Prot screen (Protocol).
a. To enter the Address, from the Adr screen:
• Use the Down button to select the number value for a digit.
• Use the Right button to move to the next digit.
b. To select the Baud Rate, from the bAUd screen:
Use the Right button or the Down button to select the setting you want.
c. To select the Protocol, from the Prot screen:
Press the Right button or the Down button to select the setting you want.
NOTE: If you are prompted to enter a password, refer to the instructions earlier in this chapter.
2. When you finish making your selections, press the Menu button twice.
3. The STOR ALL YES screen appears. Press Enter to save the settings.
