Safety code
Some hearing care professionals have asked for
a Safety code to ensure that data from a fitted
hearing aid is not accessible to others.
The Safety code ensures that if the hearing aid
is connected to another fitting system, a code
must be entered. Otherwise, it is not possible to
open the fitting and work with the hearing aid
data. See Fig. 45.
The code automatically expires when the expiration date defined is reached. After this date,
no code is necessary to fit or fine-tune the hearing aid.
