4.GentlyrinsethePCOfilterinthesinkforapproximately5seconds.Donotscruboruseanydetergentstocleanthefilter.

Replacing the ultraviolet (UV) bulb
TheUV-Clightbulbisdesignedtolastupto8000hours,whichisalmostafullyearof
continuoususe.Overtime,withusethe8wattUV-Cbulbwilllosesomeintensity.Werecommend
youreplacetheUV-Cbulbonceeveryyear.Youwillknowwhenitistimetochangethebulbwhen
itcontinuouslyflickersoryounolongerseeaglowatthebackoftheunit.
ToreplacetheUVBulb,followthebelowinstructions:
1.Turnofftheairpurifierandunplugtheunit
2.AllowtheUVbulbtocooldownforapproximately15minutesbeforehandling
3.Removethereargrillcover,HEPAfilterandthePCOfilter.
4.GrabbothceramicendsoftheUVbulb.Turnit90ºineitherdirectionandgentlypullto
remove(seeFigure9).

3 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
SunbeamProducts,Inc.doingbusinessasJardenConsumerSolutionsorifinCanada,SunbeamCorporation(Canada)Limiteddoing
businessasJardenConsumerSolutions(collectively“JCS”)warrantsthatforaperiodofthreeyearsfromthedateofpurchase,this
productwillbefreefromdefectsinmaterialandworkmanship.JCS,atitsoption,willrepairorreplacethisproductorany
componentoftheproductfoundtobedefectiveduringthewarrantyperiod.Replacementwillbemadewithanewor
remanufacturedproductorcomponent.Iftheproductisnolongeravailable,replacementmaybemadewithasimilarproductof
equalorgreatervalue.Thisisyourexclusivewarranty.DoNOTattempttorepairoradjustanyelectricalormechanicalfunctions
onthisproduct.Doingsowillvoidthiswarranty.
Thiswarrantyisvalidfortheoriginalretailpurchaserfromthedateofinitialretailpurchaseandisnottransferable.Keepthe
originalsalesreceipt.Proofofpurchaseisrequiredtoobtainwarrantyperformance.JCSdealers,servicecenters,orretailstores
sellingJCSproductsdonothavetherighttoalter,modifyoranywaychangethetermsandconditionsofthiswarranty.
Thiswarrantydoesnotcovernormalwearofpartsordamageresultingfromanyofthefollowing:negligentuseormisuseofthe
product,useonimpropervoltageorcurrent,usecontrarytotheoperatinginstructions,disassembly,repairoralterationbyanyone
otherthanJCSoranauthorizedJCSservicecenter.Further,thewarrantydoesnotcover:ActsofGod,suchasfire,flood,hurricanes
andtornadoes.
What are the limits on JCS’s Liability?
JCSshallnotbeliableforanyincidentalorconsequentialdamagescausedbythebreachofanyexpress,impliedorstatutory
warrantyorcondition.
Excepttotheextentprohibitedbyapplicablelaw,anyimpliedwarrantyorconditionofmerchantabilityorfitnessfor
aparticularpurposeislimitedindurationtothedurationoftheabovewarranty.
JCSdisclaimsallotherwarranties,conditionsorrepresentations,express,implied,statutoryorotherwise.
JCSmakesnowarranty,expressorimplied,writtenororal,includingthatofmerchantabilityorfitnessforanyparticularpurpose
withrespecttofiltersandanyotheraccessories.
JCSshallnotbeliableforanydamagesofanykindresultingfromthepurchase,useormisuseof,orinabilitytousetheproduct
includingincidental,special,consequentialorsimilardamagesorlossofprofits,orforanybreachofcontract,fundamentalor
otherwise,orforanyclaimbroughtagainstpurchaserbyanyotherparty.
Someprovinces,statesorjurisdictionsdonotallowtheexclusionorlimitationofincidentalorconsequentialdamagesorlimitations
onhowlonganimpliedwarrantylasts,sotheabovelimitationsorexclusionmaynotapplytoyou.
