SWITCH ON SAFELY
Do not switch the device on when wireless device use is prohibited
or when it may cause interference or danger.
ROAD SAFETY COMES FIRST
Obey all local laws. Always keep your hands free to operate the
vehicle while driving. Your first consideration while driving should
be road safety.
INTERFERENCE
All wireless devices may be susceptible to interference, which could
affect performance.
SWITCH OFF IN RESTRICTED AREAS
Follow any restrictions. Switch the device off in aircraft, near medical
equipment, fuel, chemicals, or blasting areas.
QUALIFIED SERVICE
Only qualified personnel may repair this product.
ENHANCEMENTS AND BATTERIES
Use only approved enhancements and batteries. Do not connect
incompatible products.
WATER-RESISTANCE
Your device is not water-resistant. Keep it dry.

GPS information
1. GPS information
The Global Positioning System (GPS) is operated by the government of the
United States, which is solely responsible for its accuracy and maintenance.
The accuracy of location data can be affected by adjustments to GPS satellites
made by the United States government and is subject to change with the
United States Department of Defense civil GPS policy and the Federal
Radionavigation Plan. Accuracy can also be affected by poor satellite geometry.
Availability and quality of GPS signals may be affected by your location,
buildings, natural obstacles, and weather conditions. The GPS receiver
should only be used outdoors to allow reception of GPS signals.
Any GPS should not be used for precise location measurement, and you
should never rely solely on location data from the GPS receiver for
positioning or navigation.
■ Map application
Almost all digital cartography is inaccurate and incomplete to some extent.
Never rely solely on the cartography that you download for use in this device.
The third-party applications provided with your device may have been
created and may be owned by persons or entities not affiliated with or
related to Nokia. Nokia does not own the copyrights or intellectual property
rights to the third-party applications. As such, Nokia does not take any
responsibility for end-user support, functionality of the applications, or the
information in the applications or these materials. Nokia does not provide
any warranty for the third-party applications.

Mobile holder information
2. Mobile holder information
Only operate the mobile holder and any compatible mounting device if it is
safe to do so under all driving conditions.
When you install the mobile holder, ensure that it does not interfere with
or hinder the steering or braking systems or other systems used in the
operation of the vehicle (for example, airbags) or disturb your field of
vision while driving.
Check that the deployment of the airbag is not blocked or impaired in any way.
Ensure that the mobile holder is not installed where you might come in
contact with it in the event of an accident or collision.
3. Battery and charger information
Your device is powered by a rechargeable battery. The battery intended for
use with Nokia N800 is BP-5L, and with Nokia N810 is BP-4L. These devices
are intended for use when supplied with power from the following chargers:
Nokia AC-4 and DC-4. The battery can be charged and discharged hundreds
of times, but it will eventually wear out. When the operating and standby
times are noticeably shorter than normal, replace the battery. Use only
Nokia approved batteries, and recharge your battery only with Nokia
approved chargers designated for this device. Use of an unapproved battery
or charger may present a risk of fire, explosion, leakage, or other hazard.
If a battery is being used for the first time or if the battery has not been used
for a prolonged period, it may be necessary to connect the charger, then
disconnect and reconnect it to begin charging the battery. If the battery is
completely discharged, it may take several minutes before the charging
indicator appears on the display.
Always switch the device off and disconnect the charger before removing
the battery.
Unplug the charger from the electrical plug and the device when not in use.
Do not leave a fully charged battery connected to a charger, since overcharging
may shorten its lifetime. If left unused, a fully charged battery will lose its
charge over time.

Battery and charger information
Do not short-circuit the battery. Accidental short-circuiting can occur when
a metallic object such as a coin, clip, or pen causes direct connection of the
positive (+) and negative (-) terminals of the battery. (These look like metal
strips on the battery.) This might happen, for example, when you carry a
spare battery in your pocket or purse. Short-circuiting the terminals may
damage the battery or the connecting object.
Always try to keep the battery between 15°C and 25°C (59°F and 77°F).
Extreme temperatures reduce the capacity and lifetime of the battery. A device
with a hot or cold battery may not work temporarily. Battery performance
is particularly limited in temperatures well below freezing.
Do not dispose of batteries in a fire as they may explode. Batteries may also
explode if damaged. Dispose of batteries according to local regulations.
Please recycle when possible. Do not dispose as household waste.
Do not dismantle, cut, open, crush, bend, deform, puncture, or shred cells or
batteries. In the event of a battery leak, do not allow the liquid to come in
contact with the skin or eyes. In the event of such a leak, flush your skin or
eyes immediately with water, or seek medical help.
Do not modify, remanufacture, attempt to insert foreign objects into the
battery, or immerse or expose it to water or other liquids.
Improper battery use may result in a fire, explosion, or other hazard. If the
device or battery is dropped, especially on a hard surface, and you believe
the battery has been damaged, take it to a service centre for inspection
before continuing to use it.
Use the battery only for its intended purpose. Never use any charger or battery
that is damaged. Keep your battery out of the reach of small children.
■ Nokia battery authentication guidelines
Always use original Nokia batteries for your safety. To check that you are
getting an original Nokia battery, purchase it from an authorised Nokia
dealer, and inspect the hologram label using the following steps:
Successful completion of the steps is not a total assurance of the authenticity
of the battery. If you have any reason to believe that your battery is not an
authentic, original Nokia battery, you should refrain from using it, and take
it to the nearest authorised Nokia service point or dealer for assistance. Your
authorised Nokia service point or dealer will inspect the battery for authenticity.
If authenticity cannot be verified, return the battery to the place of purchase.

1 When you look at the hologram on the label,
you should see the Nokia connecting hands
symbol from one angle and the Nokia Original
Enhancements logo when looking from
another angle.
2 When you angle the hologram left, right, down
and up, you should see 1, 2, 3 and 4 dots on each
side respectively.
What if your battery is not authentic?
If you cannot confirm that your Nokia battery with the hologram on the label
is an authentic Nokia battery, please do not use the battery. Take it to the
nearest authorised Nokia service point or dealer for assistance. The use of a
battery that is not approved by the manufacturer may be dangerous and may
result in poor performance and damage to your device and its enhancements.
It may also invalidate any approval or warranty applying to the device.
For additional information, refer to the warranty and reference leaflet
included with your Nokia device.
Care and maintenance
Your device is a product of superior design and craftsmanship and should be
treated with care. The following suggestions will help you protect your
warranty coverage.
• Keep the device dry. Precipitation, humidity, and all types of liquids
or moisture can contain minerals that will corrode electronic circuits.
If your device does get wet, remove the battery, and allow the device
to dry completely before replacing it.
• Do not use or store the device in dusty, dirty areas. Its moving parts and
electronic components can be damaged.

Care and maintenance
• Do not store the device in hot areas. High temperatures can shorten the life
of electronic devices, damage batteries, and warp or melt certain plastics.
• Do not store the device in cold areas. When the device returns to its
normal temperature, moisture can form inside the device and damage
electronic circuit boards.
• Do not attempt to open the device other than as instructed in this guide.
• Do not drop, knock, or shake the device. Rough handling can break
internal circuit boards and fine mechanics.
• Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents to
clean the device.
• Do not paint the device. Paint can clog the moving parts and prevent
proper operation.
• Use a soft, clean, dry cloth to clean any lenses, such as camera, proximity
sensor, and light sensor lenses.
• Use chargers indoors.
• Always create a backup of data you want to keep, such as contacts and
calendar notes.
• To reset the device from time to time for optimum performance, power
off the device and remove the battery.
These suggestions apply equally to your device, battery, charger, or any
enhancement. If any device is not working properly, take it to the nearest
authorised service facility for service.
Disposal
The crossed-out wheeled-bin symbol on your product, literature, or
packaging reminds you that in the European Union all electrical and
electronic products, batteries, and accumulators must be taken to
separate collection at the end of their working life. Do not dispose of
these products as unsorted municipal waste.
By returning the products to collection you help uncontrolled waste
disposal and promote the reuse of material resources. More detailed
information is available from the product retailer, local waste authorities,
national producer responsibility organizations, or your local Nokia
representative. For the product Eco-Declaration or instructions for
returning your obsolete product, go to country-specific information
at www.nokia.com.

■ Small children
Your device and its enhancements may contain small parts. Keep them out
of the reach of small children.
■ Operating environment
This device meets RF exposure guidelines when used either in the normal use
position or when positioned at least 1.0 centimetre (3/8 inch) away from the
body. When a carry case, belt clip, or holder is used for body-worn operation,
it should not contain metal and should position the device the above-stated
distance from your body.
To transmit data files or messages, this device requires a quality connection
to the network. In some cases, transmission of data files or messages may
be delayed until such a connection is available. Ensure the above separation
distance instructions are followed until the transmission is completed.
Parts of the device are magnetic. Metallic materials may be attracted to the
device. Do not place credit cards or other magnetic storage media near the
device, because information stored on them may be erased.

Warranty
Warranty
Manufacturer Limited Warranty for the Caribbean
Nokia Inc or its relevant affiliate hereby grant this Limited Warranty for its
products included under the sale pack (the "Product"). To obtain information and
instructions relating the technical specifications and usage of the Product please
refer to the User Manual furnished with the sale pack.
Nokia hereby warrants that during the warranty period, Nokia Authorized Service
Center, within a period commercially reasonable not to exceed thirty (30) days
counted as from the date when the Product is delivered by the final user to any
Nokia Authorized Service Center, shall cure all materials, design and workmanship
defects free of cost, by repairing or replacing the Product, unless the law requires
otherwise. This Limited Warranty is valid and enforceable solely in the country
where you purchased the Product.
The warranty period commences on the date set out on the Product purchase
invoice given to the first purchaser. The Product may contain several parts as
stated below, which parts shall have different warranty periods, (hereinafter
referred to as the “Warranty Period”) and/or may be excluded from the Limited
Warranty, as the case may be
a.
Twelve (12) months for the device. Out of these twelve (12) months, the first
three (3) months* are deemed mandatory warranty and the remaining
months are deemed an extension of the former.
b.
Six (6) months for accessories enclosed with the device in the sale pack.
c.
Ninety (90) days* for the media containing the software (i.e., CD-ROM,
memory card).
* For Argentina, six (6) months are mandatory (Act 24.240/93).
To the extent permitted by the applicable law, the Warranty Period shall not be
extended or renewed nor shall be otherwise affected by any subsequent purchase,
repair or replacement of the Product. However, any parts being repaired shall be
warranted for the remaining of original Warranty Period or sixty (60) days following
the repair date, whichever is longer.
How do we obtain warranty services?
Should you wish filing a complaint pursuant to the Limited Warranty, take the
Product or the affected part (if other than the entire Product) to the Nokia
Authorized Service Center or call Nokia’s service center (subject to domestic rates).

Information concerning Service Companies authorized by Nokia may be found in
the Product pack or on the local website of Nokia, if available.
You must take the defective Product to the Service Company authorized by Nokia
within the term of effectiveness of this Limited Warranty.
The filing of a complaint under the Limited Warranty requires submission of:
a) the Product (or the affected part thereof), b) the legible and non-amended
purchase voucher clearly stating the seller’s name and domicile, the purchase
date and place, the type of Product and, if applicable, the serial number.
Exclusions
1. To the extent permitted by the applicable law, this Limited Warranty is not
extensive to user manuals or third party software, configuration, contents, data
or links, whether included or downloaded on the Product or included during
its installation, or assembling, or otherwise acquired by you. Nokia does not
warrant that a given Nokia software will comply the requirements of or perform
in combination with any other hardware or software application furnished by
third parties, or that the software operation shall not be interrupted or be free
of errors, or that all and any software defects may be or shall be corrected.
2. This Limited Warranty excludes: a) Ordinary wear and tear (including, without
limitation, wear and tear of camera lenses, batteries or screens). b) To the extent
permitted by the applicable law, transportation costs. c) Defects or damages
caused by reckless handling (including, without limitation, defects caused by
pointing or sharpening items, rubbing, wrong storage, compression, fall-down,
etc.). d) Defects or damages caused by misuse of the Product, including usage in
breach of the instructions furnished by Nokia, including those set out under the
user manual. e) Any other acts beyond the reasonable control of Nokia.
3. This Limited Warranty does not cover any defects or alleged defects caused by
the use or linking of the Product with any product, accessory, software and/or
service non manufactured, furnished or authorized by Nokia, or should the
Product is given a use other than the intended use for which it was manufactured.
For example, such defect may have been caused by any virus transmitted due
to non authorized access by a third party to the services or to other accounts,
computer systems or networks. Such non-authorized access may also be the
result of a piracy action on informatics, password forgery or any other nonauthorized forms.
4. To the extent permitted by the applicable law, this Limited Warranty covers no
defects caused by the battery short-circuit or if the seals on the battery container
or cells have been intruded or broken or should the latter show signals of
manipulation or the battery was used in an equipment other than specified.

5. This Limited Warranty does not apply if the Product has been opened,
modified or repaired by anyone other than the Service Center authorized by
Nokia or if the Product is repaired using parts non-authorized by Nokia or if
the Product serial number has been removed, erased, mutilated or altered or
if these are illegible, as Nokia may discretionally determine.
6. This Limited Warranty does not apply of the Product has been exposed to
corrosion, oxidation and food or liquid spilling or to the influence of chemical
products, humidity or extreme thermal or environmental conditions or to
rapid changes in any such conditions.

Nokia does not consent to any liability under this Warranty relating the operation,

Your Product may have been manufactured with elements specific for your

Maximum liability of Nokia
To the extent permitted by the applicable law, this Limited Warranty is the only
resource available against Nokia and it is Nokia’s sole liability relating defects or
malfunctioning of your Product. This Limited Warranty shall not exclude or limit:
i) any of its statutory mandatory rights; or ii) any of its rights against the seller/
dealer of the Product.
This Limited Warranty supersedes every other warranty and liability of Nokia
(whether written or verbal (non mandatory), statutory, contractual or otherwise

1. Información de GPS
El Gobierno de los Estados Unidos es el operador del Sistema de Posicionamiento
Global (GPS-Global Positioning System), y el único responsable de su precisión
y mantenimiento. La precisión de localización de datos puede verse afectada
por los ajustes en los satélites GPS que realice el Gobierno de los Estados
Unidos y está sujeta a cambios en la política civil de GPS del Departamento
de Defensa de los Estados Unidos y del Plan de Radionavegación Federal
(Federal Radionavigation Plan). La precisión de los datos también puede
verse afectada por una mala geometría satelital. La ubicación, la presencia
de edificios y de obstáculos naturales, y las condiciones climáticas pueden
afectar la disponibilidad y la calidad de las señales GPS. Sólo deberá usarse
el receptor GPS en exteriores para permitir la recepción de señales GPS.

2. Información sobre soporte móvil

3. Información sobre baterías
y cargadores
Su dispositivo recibe alimentación eléctrica a través de una batería recargable.
La batería indicada para el equipo Nokia N800 es BP-5L, y para el Nokia N810
es BP-4L. Estos dispositivos están diseñados para su uso con los siguientes
cargadores: AC-4 y DC-4 de Nokia. La batería se puede cargar y descargar
cientos de veces, pero con el tiempo se gastará. Cuando los tiempos de
conversación y de standby sean notablemente más cortos que lo normal,
reemplace la batería. Utilice únicamente baterías aprobadas por Nokia, y
recárguelas sólo con los cargadores aprobados por Nokia y diseñados para
este dispositivo. El uso de una batería o de un cargador no aprobados podría
generar riesgo de incendio, explosión, pérdida u otro peligro.
Si se usa una batería por primera vez, o si no se usó la batería durante un
tiempo prolongado, tal vez sea necesario conectar el cargador, desconectarlo y
reconectarlo para iniciar la carga de la batería. Si la batería está completamente
descargada, es posible que pasen varios minutos antes de que el indicador
de carga aparezca en la pantalla.
Apague siempre el dispositivo y desconecte el cargador antes de retirar
la batería.
Desconecte el cargador del enchufe eléctrico y del dispositivo cuando no esté
en uso. No deje la batería conectada al cargador después de haberla cargado
completamente, puesto que la sobrecarga puede acortar su vida útil. Si no se
la utiliza, una batería completamente cargada se descargará paulatinamente.
No provoque un cortocircuito en la batería. Puede producirse un cortocircuito
accidental si un objeto metálico, como una moneda, un clip o un bolígrafo
ocasionan la conexión directa de los terminales positivo (+) y negativo (-)
de la batería (éstos parecen tiras metálicas en la batería). Puede ocurrir,
por ejemplo, cuando lleva una batería de repuesto en su bolsillo o bolso.
El cortocircuito de los terminales puede dañar la batería o el objeto que
esté conectado a ella.
Intente mantener la batería siempre entre los 15 °C y 25 °C (59 °F y 77 °F).
Las temperaturas extremas reducen la capacidad y la vida útil de la batería.
Un dispositivo con una batería caliente o fría puede dejar de funcionar

temporalmente. El rendimiento de la batería se ve particularmente limitado
en temperaturas inferiores al punto de congelación.
No arroje las baterías al fuego, ya que pueden explotar. También pueden
explotar si están dañadas. Elimine las baterías conforme a las normativas
locales. Recíclelas siempre que sea posible. No las deseche junto con los
desperdicios domésticos.
No desmantele, corte, abra, aplaste, doble, deforme, perfore ni destruya las
celdas o las baterías. En el caso de escape de líquido, evite su contacto con
la piel o los ojos. Si esto ocurre, lave la piel o los ojos inmediatamente con
agua o busque ayuda médica.
No modifique ni reacondicione la batería; no intente insertar objetos extraños
en ella ni la sumerja o exponga al agua o a otros líquidos.

u otro peligro. Si el dispositivo o la batería se caen, especialmente en una

2 Cuando mueva el holograma hacia la izquierda y
la derecha, y hacia arriba y abajo, verá 1, 2, 3 y 4
puntitos en cada lado respectivamente.
¿Qué ocurre si la batería no es auténtica?
Si no puede confirmar que su batería Nokia con el holograma en la etiqueta
es una batería auténtica de Nokia, no la use. Llévela al centro de servicio
autorizado Nokia o al distribuidor más cercano para solicitar asistencia.
El uso de una batería no aprobada por el fabricante podría ser peligroso
y podría resultar en un rendimiento inferior y dañar su dispositivo y los
accesorios. También podría invalidar cualquier aprobación o garantía

Garantía limitada del fabricante
Nokia Inc o su respectiva filial y en el caso de México, Nokia México S.A de C.V.,
otorgan esta Garantía Limitada para sus productos incluidos en el paquete de
venta (el "Producto"). Para obtener información e instrucciones sobre las
especificaciones técnicas del Producto y la forma de utilizarlo por favor remítase
al Manual de Usuario que le es entregado en este mismo paquete de venta.
Nokia México S.A. de C.V., tiene domicilio en Guillermo González Camarena
No. 1200, Piso 15, Col. Lomas de Santa Fe, Deleg. Alvaro Obregón, C.P. 01210,
México D.F., México. La presente Garantía Limitada podrá hacerse efectiva en
México en los establecimientos que se señalan en el presente documento.
Nokia le garantiza que durante el periodo de garantía, Nokia o un Centro de Servicio
Autorizado Nokia, en un periodo comercialmente razonable, que no exceda de
treinta días (30) contados a partir de la fecha en que el Producto sea entregado
por el usuario final a un Centro de Servicio Autorizado Nokia, solucionará los
defectos en materiales, diseño y mano de obra sin cargo, al reparar o reemplazar
el Producto, a menos que la ley requiera otra cosa. Esta Garantía Limitada es válida
y aplicable únicamente en el país en donde usted haya comprado el Producto.
El periodo de garantía inicia en la fecha indicada en la factura de compra del
Producto por parte del primer comprador. El Producto puede contener varias
partes como se señala a continuación, las cuales tendrán un periodo diferente de
garantía, (en lo sucesivo el “Periodo de Garantía”) y/o podrán ser excluidos de la
Garantía Limitada, según sea el caso:
a. Doce (12) meses para el dispositivo móvil. De estos doce (12 meses) se
consideran como garantía obligatoria los primeros tres (3) meses* del periodo
anotado y como extensión a la misma los meses restantes.
b. Seis (6) meses para los accesorios del dispositivo móvil incluidos en el
paquete de venta.
c. Tres (3) meses* para los medios en los que se proporciona el software
(es decir, CD-rom, tarjeta de memoria).
* Para la República Argentina se tendrán por obligatorios seis (6) meses
(Ley 24.240/93).
En la medida permitida por la ley aplicable, el Periodo de Garantía no se prorrogará
ni renovará o de otra forma se verá afectado debido a una compra, reparación o
reemplazo posterior del Producto. Sin embargo, las partes reparadas estarán
garantizadas por el resto del Periodo de Garantía original o por sesenta (60) días
contados desde la fecha de reparación, lo que sea mayor.

¿Cómo obtenemos el servicio de garantía?
Si desea realizar una reclamación de acuerdo con la Garantía Limitada, lleve su
Producto o la parte afectada (si no es el Producto completo) al Centro de Servicio
Autorizado Nokia, o llame al centro de atención de Nokia. La información referente
a los Centros de Servicio autorizados por Nokia puede encontrarse en el paquete
del Producto o en el sitio web local de Nokia cuando esté disponible.
Usted deberá llevar el Producto defectuoso a la Compañía de Servicio autorizada
por Nokia dentro de la vigencia de esta Garantía Limitada.
Cuando se realice una reclamación de Garantía Limitada, se debe presentar: a) el
Producto (o la parte afectada del mismo), b) el comprobante de compra legible y
no modificado, que indique claramente el nombre y domicilio del vendedor, la
fecha y lugar de compra, el tipo de Producto y si es aplicable, el número de serie.
Para hacer efectiva esta Garantía Limitada en México se debe presentar: a) el
Producto (o la parte afectada del mismo), b) esta póliza debidamente sellada por
el establecimiento que la vendió.
¿Qué no cubre?
En la medida permitida por la ley aplicable, esta Garantía Limitada no cubre los
manuales de usuario ni ningún software de terceros, configuración, contenido,
datos o vínculos, ya sea incluidos o descargados en el Producto o incluidos durante
la instalación, ensamble, o de cualquier otra forma adquirido por usted. Nokia no
garantiza que ningún software de Nokia cumplirá con sus requerimientos o
funcionará en combinación con cualquier otra aplicación de hardware o software
proporcionada por terceros, o que la operación de software será ininterrumpida o
estará libre de errores, o que todos los defectos de este software puedan corregirse
o serán corregidos. Esta Garantía Limitada tampoco cubre el uso y desgaste
normales (incluyendo, de manera enunciativa más no limitativa raspaduras,
golpes, uso y desgaste de los lentes de la cámara, las baterías o las pantallas).
¿Qué excepciones de aplicación tiene esta Garantía Limitada?
La presente Garantía Limitada no se hará efectiva cuando:
1. El Producto se hubiese utilizado en condiciones distintas a las normales. Se
comprende de manera enunciativa, más no limitativa, cuando el Producto
presente defectos o daños derivados de accidente o negligencia, golpes o
evidencia de residuos líquidos, sólidos o humedad defectos o daños derivados
del uso anormal del producto; si el Producto se ha expuesto a corrosión,
oxidación y derrame de comida o líquido, a influencia de productos químicos,
humedad o condiciones térmicas o ambientales extremas o cambios rápidos en
esas condiciones; cuando el Producto sea utilizado con accesorios no originales
de NOKIA; cuando el Producto no tenga la etiqueta con el número de serie o

cuando el mismo sea ilegible; cuando los cables de la unidad de control hayan
sido cortados o tengan rotos algunos de sus conectores o terminales.
Por defectos o daños causados por mal uso del Producto, cuando no hubiese
sido operado de acuerdo al manual del usuario e instrucciones del Producto
proporcionado por Nokia incluyendo aquellas estipuladas en el manual del
usuario; o cuando el Producto sea utilizado con accesorios no originales de
NOKIA; cuando las baterías sean cargadas por cualquier otro cargador que no
haya sido aprobado por NOKIA; si cualquiera de los sellos de las baterías se
encuentra roto o modificado o si muestran manipulación; cuando las baterías
fueran usadas o instaladas en equipo distinto al del de la marca NOKIA para el
cual fueron fabricadas y, en la medida permitida por la ley aplicable, si se
presentó un corto circuito.
2. El Producto haya sido abierto, modificado o reparado por personas no
autorizadas por NOKIA Inc., sus subsidiarias y en el caso de México por NOKIA
México S.A. de C.V. o por algún Centro de Servicio Autorizado Nokia, o si el
Producto es reparado usando partes no autorizadas por Nokia o si el número
de serie del Producto, o el número IMEI ha sido quitado, borrado, mutilado o
alterado o si en cualquier forma es ilegible lo cual será determinado
discrecionalmente por Nokia.
3. Esta Garantía Limitada no cubre los defectos o supuestos defectos causados
por el uso o relación del Producto con un producto, accesorio, software y/o
servicio no fabricado, suministrado ni autorizado por Nokia, o si al Producto
se le da un uso distinto para el cual fue fabricado. Por ejemplo, ese defecto
puede haber sido causado por un virus transmitido por su acceso o por un
acceso no autorizado de terceros a los servicios, a otras cuentas, a sistemas
de cómputo o a redes. El acceso no autorizado también podría haberse
realizado durante una acción de piratería informática, falsificación de
contraseñas o de cualquier otra forma no autorizada.
Otras notificaciones importantes
Nokia no acepta responsabilidad bajo esta Garantía Limitada por la operación,
estabilidad, cobertura, servicios o rango de red o sistema de cualquier otro tipo.
Recuerde hacer copia de respaldo o mantener los registros escritos de todo el
contenido, información y datos importantes almacenados en su Producto, ya que
los mismos pueden perderse durante la reparación o reemplazo del Producto.
“Nokia, consistentemente con la “Limitación de Responsabilidad de Nokia”, bajo
ninguna circunstancia será responsable, ya sea expresa o implícitamente, por
ningún daño o pérdida de ningún tipo que resulte de la pérdida, daño, o alteración
del contenido o datos durante la reparación o reemplazo del Producto”.

Todas las partes de los Productos que Nokia haya reemplazado, serán propiedad
de Nokia. Nokia y el Centro de Servicio Autorizado Nokia se reservan el derecho a
cobrar por el servicio de reparación en el caso en que el Producto devuelto no esté
cubierto de acuerdo con los términos y condiciones de esta Garantía Limitada.
Salvo que la ley local no lo permita, cuando se repare o reemplace el Producto,
Nokia podrá usar productos o partes reacondicionadas o funcionalmente
equivalentes siempre que se informe tal situación al usuario si así lo exige la
legislación aplicable.
Esta Garantía Limitada es aplicable exclusivamente en el país en donde el
Producto fue adquirido.
Límite de responsabilidad de Nokia
En la medida permitida por la ley aplicable, esta Garantía Limitada es el único
recurso que usted tiene contra Nokia y es la única responsabilidad de Nokia respecto
a los defectos o al mal funcionamiento de su Producto. Esta Garantía Limitada
no excluirá ni limitará: i) ninguno de sus derechos reglamentarios obligatorios; o
ii) ninguno de sus derechos contra el vendedor/distribuidor del Producto.
Esta Garantía Limitada reemplaza a todas las demás garantías y responsabilidades
de Nokia (orales o escritas (no obligatorias), reglamentarias, contractuales o de
otra forma (incluyendo, de manera enunciativa mas no limitativa, y cuando lo
permita la ley aplicable), cualquier condición o garantía y otros términos implícitos
para satisfacción de calidad o idoneidad para un fin). En la medida permitida por
la ley aplicable, Nokia no asume responsabilidad alguna por pérdida o daño,
alteración de datos, cualquier daño incidental, especial, emergente, consecuente,
indirecto, punitivo incluyendo, de manera enunciativa mas no limitativa, los
costos o gastos, lucro cesante, cualquier daño consecuente económico, pérdida
de beneficios reales o previstos, utilidades o ingresos, tiempo de inactividad o
pérdida de negocios o ingresos, pérdida de contratos, oportunidades, reputación
y crédito mercantil, pérdida de ahorros reales o previstos, daños punitivos,
reclamación de terceros, demora, pérdida del uso del Producto o cualquier equipo
o instalación relacionada y cualquier otra ventaja económica (ya sea que esa
pérdida o daño se haya previsto, se haya podido prever, se conocía o de otra forma).
En la medida permitida por la ley aplicable Nokia en ningún caso será responsable
por daños, costos o gastos directos, si usted es una persona jurídica. En la medida
permitida por la ley aplicable, la responsabilidad de Nokia estará limitada al valor
de compra del Producto.
