COMMODITY USER GUIDE (please refer to the Framework Guideline Document for an overview of how SW’s Frameworks should be used) COMMODITY TITLE: GRP Kiosks COMMODITY NO: SFA 3-133-01 COMMODITY OVERVIEW This framework is for the supply of GRP Kiosks for all potable and waste water applications supplied to Scottish Water. SCOPE The scope of supply is for the design, manufacturing, factory / works testing (where required), delivery, off loading, installation, commissioning and on site testing of GRP Kiosks and all necessary ancillary equipment. o o o o o o o o o o o o Scottish Water has a requirement for the supply of Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) Kiosks. The requirement may also include for the supply of GRP pillars or Gatehouse/ Security Buildings. Supplied GRP Kiosks will be complete with access doors, ventilation and backboard and any other ancillary items as per the specific project brief. High level mounted electric fan, thermostatically controlled complete with louvers and external anti vandal mesh guard. Low level vents will require to be fitted with anti vermit mesh. Provision of all required certified drawings and calculations, including all kiosk building services and ventilation requirements for heat dissipation from the MCC and/or the prevention of condensation build-up. Provision of all required general arrangement drawings including plant loading, openings and fixing details to enable the reinforced concrete structural design to be verified against the proposed applied loads and access arrangements to be designed Installation of the GRP Kiosk, including where necessary attendance to the site prior to installation to ensure that the works have been constructed in accordance with the supplier’s and/or installers requirements. Testing of the GRP Kiosk, following installation, including all fittings and fixtures Provision of operating and maintenance manuals and training of operation and maintainance staff. The contractor should also provide adequate after sales services including defect repairs and provision of replacement or additional sections. The GRP Kiosks, etc shall be required to be delivered to various locations throughout the Scottish Water Operational Area. Tanks will be supplied in accordance with Scottish Water Regulations. However of particular importance is Specification 609 – GRP Kiosks. Scottish Water specifications and WIMES specifications apply to the supply of all commodities as do any and all regulatory requirements.
