What's New
StoreOnce is now available as a flexible VMware virtual appliance. This StoreOnce VSA extends the benefits of
StoreOnce Federated Deduplication to virtualized infrastructures as well as smaller and remote offices without the need
for dedicated hardware.
The StoreOnce VSA is a virtual backup solution that can be configured in 1 TB increments up to its maximum capacity of
10 TB.
For Small and remote officesStoreOnce VSA offers the lowest price performance point in the StoreOnce portfolio.
StoreOnce VSA offers the flexibility required by Backup Service Providers (SSPs) and organizations with an IT as a
service ( ITaaS) infrastructure , Delivering StoreOnce as a virtual appliance means it can be quickly stood up and retired
to provide a flexible backup target of up to 10 TB.
For multi-tenant environments, one StoreOnce VSA can be deployed per user (tenant) for greater backup data security
between tenants.
Centralized deployment and configuration of StoreOnce VSA instances across multiple sites can be carried out via the
StoreOnce Enterprise Manager (SEM) application. SEM 1.0 also offers centralized monitoring, reporting, forecasting and
trends analysis in NAS, VTL and StoreOnce Catalyst environments for up to 400 StoreOnce virtual and physical
appliances across different sites.
