By carefully following the below Warnings, Cautions, Instructions and Care and Wash Information, you should be able to enjoy trouble-free operation. STOP! - READ ALL OF THE BELOW INFORMATION BEFORE USING THE BLANKET AND INFORM ANYONE ELSE WHO MAY USE IT OF THIS INFORMATION! WARNING! ALWAYS UNPLUG THE THROW BEFORE LEAVING THE VEHICLE! ALWAYS UNPLUG THE BLANKET WHEN THE VEHICLE IS UNATTENDED BY AN ADULT! Be careful not to close a door on the power cord or the blanket itself as this may result in a short circuit of either the blanket or of the vehicle’s power supply outlet or may result in electrical shock or fire. If the cord or blanket appears damaged, do not use the blanket. Inspect often for rips and tears. To protect against electrical hazards, do not use the blanket if it is wet, damp or near water or other liquids. Do not immerse plug or unit in water or other liquids. Replace with 7-amp fuse only. For complete Use with adult supervision only. Not to be used as a warming blanket for infants or by children less than 3 years of age. The blanket should not be used for applications other than its intended use. Keep away from heat or flame . ALWAYS unplug the blanket before leaving the vehicle. Do not attempt to service the blanket, except to replace the fuse, if needed – see 12-Volt Fuse Replacement Instructions below Instructions 1. Before plugging in the blanket, make sure you have read and fully understand the Warnings and Cautions. Make sure the vehicle’s cigarette lighter receptacle is free of any debris and is not in a rusted or unusable condition. Always unfold the blanket before use and look for any visible signs of damage. We also recommend that while using the blanket, the engine should always be running. 2. Set the switch on the patented timer to 30 or 45 minutes (once set, the blanket will automatically shut off when that time has elapsed). To change the time setting, you must either unplug the cord or the timer needs to end its current cycle (red LED on timer will not be illuminated). 3. Firmly grip the 12-volt (male) cigarette lighter plug at the end of the 8’ cord, and plug it into the vehicle’s cigarette lighter receptacle (or 12volt power supply). 4. The small, red LED (light emitting diode) in the male end of the plug, and the power LED in the timer, will illuminate when properly connected to the 12-volt system, indicating that the blanket is operating. If the LED’s do not illuminate, you may need to check the vehicle’s fuse panel to ensure that the cigarette lighter fuse (or 12-volt power supply) is working. 5. It may take up to 10 minutes for the blanket to warm to its automatically maintained operating temperature (temperature may vary depending upon the interior temperature of the vehicle). If the blanket becomes uncomfortably warm, simply unplug it. 6. Once the set time has expired, push the RESET button to turn the blanket on again. 7. Remember to ALWAYS unplug the blanket when it is not in use or before leaving the vehicle. Care and Wash Information Dry clean or spot hand wash with damp cloth and mild soap only. Do not machine wash or dry! Keep timer and plug away from water or other liquids. Do not use bleach on the blanket. Allow to dry thoroughly (unfolded) before plugging it in. Do not use until completely dry. Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Material content is 100% polyester fleece. Trim and stitching are 100% polyester. Troubleshooting & 12-Volt Fuse Replacement Instructions Meas: 58” x 42” (147cm x 107cm) Voltage: 12 volts Wattage: 48 watts Amp Draw: 4 amps If the blanket does not operate, check to see that the 12-Volt Plug is properly plugged into the cigarette lighter receptacle or power outlet. You may also want to make sure the fuse in your car’s fuse panel is not blown. If it is not, and the red LED indicator on the 12-Volt Plug does not light up, unplug the 12-Volt Plug from the outlet, unscrew the threaded knurled tip at the end of the male plug, pour out the old fuse, replace with new 7 amp fuse (included), and screw the knurled tip back on to the plug tightly. Plug the 12-Volt Plug back into the outlet and if the red LED still will not light up, contact Trillium Worldwide. NEVER USE A FUSE GREATER THAN 7 AMPS. 90 Day Limited Warranty: The blanket is guaranteed to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for 90 days from the purchase date. Limitations include: implied warranties, property damage caused by product or its failure to work, or any other incidental or consequential damages including personal injury. This warranty is applicable to only blanket failure and DOES NOT COVER defects or damage due to external causes, including accidents, abuse, misuse, problems with electrical power, normal wear and tear, damaged cords or blanket material, failing to follow instructions as to use, maintenance or care or if you alter or attempt to repair the blanket. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. NOTE: Heavily soiled, damaged or worn blankets are excluded from this warranty.
