Intelix MARC E User Manual System Overview Audio Matrix The audio matrix is the heart of the MARC and is used to route and mix audio signals from multiple sources to multiple destinations. The audio matrix is designed so that audio inputs can be independently mixed to all outputs simultaneously. Each “row” of the matrix represents an individual audio input, whereas each “column” of the matrix represents an individual audio output. As shown in Fig. 1b, a voltage controlled attenuator (VCA) is at every crosspoint and “virtual” VCAs on each input and output, thus allowing maximum control and flexibility.
