Graphing Command Results

Using the Command Log to Graph
You can use the results in the Command Log to create graphs of existing data or change
the command specifications.
You can tell which ACL command results can output to a graph by the line
“<<<Graphable Data>>>”, which ACL displays under the command line.
▼
To redraw a graph, do one of the following:
■
■
In the command log, double-click the result of a graphable command. ACL
immediately redraws the default graph for that command.
Click the command line (the line beginning with @). ACL displays the command
in the command text box. You can either modify the command in the text box,
and then click
to accept it; or click
to display the command dialog box in
which you can modify the command.
Graphing a View
ACL lets you graph certain kinds of data directly from the view:
■
A single character or date column with one or more numeric columns
■
Multiple numeric columns graphed against their record number
This feature lets you quickly view your data without having to process it using an ACL
command.
