Qualifier Series
The Cradle
1. Do you have all the components of the game? Let's begin setup. Start by placing the cradle upside down near the permanent
location of the game. Next attach the legs to the table using the four bolts and nuts supplied.
2. While the table is upside down adjust the leg levelers to the same distance exposing approximately 1/2 inch of thread. This
will assist in leveling the table later.
3. When the legs are attached and leg levelers adjusted, turn the table over and place it in its permanent location.
NOTE: If your game has an electronic score system STOP. See Electronic Assembly before you continue.
Leveling and Adjusting
4. Because your playfield was installed at the factory installation is not necessary. Your next step is to adjust and level your
playfield to suit your playing style. The following is our personal preference on leveling.
Climatic Adjusters for Concave or Convex Playfield
18
a. Begin the adjustment process by placing a straight edge (20" long) across the playfield directly
above the first climatic adjuster at either end. This will determine if your playfield is concave or
convex. You want your playfield concave. This can be determined by sliding a piece of paper back
and forth under the middle of the straight edge (the paper usually stopping 3" to 5" from the
side of the playfield). The pucks should drift toward the center of the scoring zone when shot.
b. If the straight edge rocks from side to side the playfield is convex and needs to be corrected.
Begin adjusting the climatic adjusters located under the cradle. Notice the climatic adjuster on
the Qualifier consists of three anchor bolts attached to the playfield and through a metal bar.
DO NOT touch or adjust the two outside anchor bolts and nuts. Their purpose is simply to hold
the bar away from the playfield. Use only the middle anchor bolt and nuts to adjust the playfield.
