Introduction
Welcome to all EDC RC users!
The purpose of this manual is to serve both as a guide for installing EDC RC in a new record center
environment and as a technical reference for all technical aspects of EDC RC.
The technical part is more of a reference for the many different components/modules of EDC RC. This
part can be quite useful for the more technically inclined personnel who need to understand more indepth a specific part of EDC RC.
Who should read this?
This manual is NOT a User's Guide (If this is what you were looking for, please visit our web site.) and
hence will not show you how to use the day to day functions that most record center employees would
use in order to do their work. It is meant to be used by IT administrators and the likes or whoever
performs computer-related maintenance in your business. Basic knowledge of networking and system
administration is assumed here.
