Background information
10.1 CRC of current data file
When opening a data file in J-Flash (File->Open...), J-Flash calculates and displays
the CRC of the user data in this file.
The following steps are taken into consideration when calculating this CRC:
1.
The CRC is calculated over all sectors which are selected in the current project
2.
Everything that is not covered by the data file (gaps in the data file, unused sectors etc.) which is opened, is assumed as 0xFF during the CRC calculation.
The polynom which is used for the CRC calculation is 0xEDB99320.
