contact closures can communicate between two Zephyr Xstreams. By grounding an
input on the local Xstream, you would therefore cause current to flow into the
corresponding output, at the far end unit. These can also be used for local control
and to monitor local status see section 10.5 has additional information on the use of
this port.

ZEPHYR CLASSIC VS. XSTREAM COMPARISON!
The original Zephyr has only four inputs and outputs numbered 0- 3 while the
Xstream has 8 inputs 0- 7. The four inputs and outputs of the Zephyr will
communicate with the first four inputs and outputs of the Xstream (i.e. 0- 3)
