6.7.4. The Advanced sheet Use Troposphere Model — allows use of the troposphere correction model. Use Ionosphere Model — allows use of the ionosphere correction model. Disable Use of Precise Ephemeris — if checked, the broadcast ephemeris will be used. The sheet also includes several parameters to do with the Cycle Slip Search. If the user decides to update the default settings, care should be exercised that the new settings are practicable. These parameters are as follows: Phase increment rms (cycles) — is the maximum acceptable carrier phase increment RMS error. Residuals rms (cycles) — is the maximum acceptable (normalized) sum of squared residuals. Preview rms (cycles) — is the maximum acceptable (normalized) sum of squared carrier phase increments as applicable to static occupations. Residuals rms factor — this parameter (which must be >1) specifies a threshold ‘poststatic increase’ for the sum of squared residuals. Max epoch interval (sec) — specifies the maximum acceptable gap between adjacent measurement times when checking for phase measurement consistency. Coarse tolerance (meters) — is the maximum acceptable discrepancy between code phases at adjacent measurement epochs. This is used when searching for large phase slips caused by loss of lock in the carrier phase loop. Fine tolerance (cycles) — is the maximum acceptable carrier phase discrepancy. If the fractional part of the phase exceeds this value, the measurement will be omitted. 90
