(Instruction Manual)
A quick THANK YOU for purchasing “BANZAI PECAN: The Last Hope For The Young
Century”!
Please refer to this manual anytime on how to operate this game.
HEY! Hey, you! Do you have a minute?
(STORY)
You think YOU have it tough? Buddy, you have NO idea.
So get this, I was out walking with my boyfriend one day, and just out of nowhere?
Some demon skank with this group or something called “Sexilicious Seven” or what
have you just up and kidnaps him!
Actually, I kind of have to backtrack a bit.
Well, you see there’s more to me than you think, ok? Even I am still trying to figure my
self out. Back when I was five, I was adopted by this woman known as a “Banzaider”,
which is this “super soldier of Justice”… you know, like in those live action TV shows?
The ones with the monsters in the fake rubber suits or something… well, anyways,
when I got out of high school, she felt she was getting too old for the action, so she
passed down her knowledge and tools of the trade to me, Pecan Apple. I figured,
nothing exciting EVER happens in our town anymore so why not; my best friend for life
Flan seems to think I’m “lucky”. Opportunity knocks on your door when you least
expect it. Or so it seems.
Fast forward to now. So I can transform into this badass, buxom super-heroine, Banzai
Pecan! Catchy, yes? Well, with great power comes great migraines; I’m STILL not used to
this. Oh sure, I have the strength of ten-thousand men who have the strength of like, a
bazillion honey badgers, but what good is all that when you haven’t a clue one as to
where to find your missing boyfriend?
Well, as luck would have it, this whole “demonic apocalypse” is being revived from
when the last Banzaider, Lavenda, (AKA THE COOLEST WOMAN EVER!) cleaned house, so
it would seem activity picked up at a close-by abandoned town, and I think this “revival”
of said apocalypse involves my boyfriend.
Uh…
Something like that.
Awesome. I suppose if I want information on my “luff-muffin” and restore Justice
across the land, I have no choice but to kick the crap out of all that stand in my way;
bunny girls, crazy karate chicks, gun-crazy ganguro, or even an SM queen. I even know a
bunny-boy who likes to party. You know, a human boy with rabbit ears?
Now I’m talking nonsense, right? Tch, right.
Maybe I’ve finally lost it. Maybe I still have my sanity. Who knows for sure?
Only one way to find out, right? Don’t worry; stick by me, and witness the birth of a
new legend of the Young Century! Panic has spread across the land and I’m the last
hope. Do I have what it takes or will this be the final chapter in my life?
Bring it on, S7! GAME START!

CARPE SOME DIEM!
(Flow of the Game)
1. Pecan’s health meter – Pecan’s vitality. The beginning of each episode, it fills back
up to max. Taking hits, cheap shots, and doing otherwise stupid things lowers it.
Once it hits zero, Pecan’s will to fight will be overpowered by fatigue and the game
will be over.
2. Pecan’s Banzai Heat meter – Pecan’s burning power. Striking enemies, as well as
taking hits, fills this meter. This meter will be the costing force behind her Burning
Starshot, Velvet Mars Crasher, as well as other Banzai Shinken moves (Refer to the
next topic for more details.). Hang on to this heat.
3. Your overall Score – To some, just a bunch of numbers that are the result of doing
cool things. To others, however, this is THEIR LIFE. Striking enemies, picking up items,
and even finding cool bonuses will add to this pile of numbers. You can even earn
Speed and Vitality bonuses at the end of each Stage, which takes us to the next subtopic…
4. Strike Judgment – That mysterious counter that counts your Strikes as WELL as
judges your amount as you fight. Notice the bar depleting? When it runs out, it
multiplies your Strikes by a generous 1000 points. If you get hit during this period of
Judgment, the meter drops, as does your Strikes, so don’t drop that combo.
5. Revive Hilt – When a Revive Gem is found, this hilt lights up with a glowing power!
It’s loud roar will revive you if your vitality drops to zero, but kills your entire Heat
Meter in exchange and only at 75% vitality. Still, it’s better than nothing.
6. BOSS’s health meter – Only on boss stages, it tracks the boss’ vitality. The health
comes with two breakers. The first one means the boss’ skills will branch out more.
The final breaker puts them in a BRINK! Mode. This means they’ll stop at nothing to
destroy Pecan. When a “!!” bubble pops up near Pecan, it means the boss is
attempting their finisher. YOU WANT PECAN TO ATTACK AT THE SAME TIME OF THIS
TO COUNTER IT, thus entering a Rapid Justice. Simply put? Mash until it works.
Here’s how Pecan’s adventure works:
Episode Eyecatch > Story Event > Actual Stage > Story Event 2 > BOSS > Results >
Episode End
In some cases, there’s an intermission with a minigame, or even another sub-Stage,
or both. The game saves after each stage and before a boss fight.
The object of the game is, simply put? KICK THEIR ASS, PECAN. Go through the torn
land, destroying Hunny Bunnies and Red Devilletes. On occasion, a sub boss known
as Jenny Jackrabbit will pop out, sometimes as a solo act, sometimes with a posse.
During BOSS stages, the flow is slightly different, as they discover new moves as their
health drops, as well as “NO-DODGE” attacks. Also, points, points out the wazoo.
OVERKILL! 9999 DAMAGE!
(FORBIDDEN SHINKEN: ART OF BANZAI)
Throughout Pecan’s adventure, she will learn how to concentrate 100% of her Banzai
Heat as one focused attack! Using this will destroy all Hunny Bunnies and cause
massive damage to Boss characters. When certain conditions are met, you will learn
new techniques, giving you a choice of devastation depending on your taste.
(Note: You might “WTF” at what Pecan is able to do. Girl’s crazy, man.)
I’ll Be Taking That, Thanks!
(Items)
Along the way of her crazy adventure, Pecan will beat down vending machines,
earning bonus points, health, Heat, and even anime figurines.
HEAL ITEMS:
Shortcake – It’s not really a lie when you realize that 10% of your health is restored
with this yummy foodstuff.
Cool Lychee Drink - Only 100 calories?! No WAY! Now you can fit into those skinny
jeans! This extremely delicious drink will also restore 25% of your health!
A-Bomb Nachoes - For mere mortals, eternal bowel obstruction is eminent. For you,
though? That’s a whole Banzai Heat Tab for you!
Banzai Udon Bowl – With the quantity to feed a family of three, downing this
legendary foodstuff will MAX out your entire status. For reals.
Revive Jewel – A rare and legendary power gem said to add a soul to whoever
possesses it. So… I guess it’s like an “extra chance” or something.
Incidentally, Little Red Devilletes fly around, judging your skills. Perhaps confront one
without flaw, take it down, and maybe….?
BONUS ITEMS:
Money – Need to make a quick withdrawal? Easy: Vandalize a toy machine. (Note: We
do not recommend you do this outside of the game.)
Moon Diamond and Pearls – How the hell did THIS wind up in a toy machine? No
matter, that’s more bank on your score.
Exotic Japanese Underwear - …okay, now THIS is actually quite possible, depending
on which country you’re in.
SaviorJun Deluxe Figure – I know how much you just GOT to get that figure so
badly… you don’t even WANT to wait for the next con! I hear Flan will reward you if
you collect enough. Oh, and only the really LUCKY nerds get these. So good luck to
you.
Okay, seriously? Don’t go around beating the crap out of vending machines and toy
machines outside of this game. That’s not cool. Seriously, not only is it totally illegal,
but that’s just a butthead move. You need something THAT BADLY; you pay for it like
every other honest citizen. No funds, no food. Punk.
ROBOT ROLL CALL!
(Cast of Characters)
Banzai Pecan (The Goddess of Young Century’s
Legend): An anime fan in her mid twenties who has a strong sense of justice and
comes off a little feisty. Upon screaming ‘BANZAI POWER BREAKOUT’, not-soaverage Pecan Apple transforms into a magical super heroine. She’ll do what it takes
to rescue her boyfriend and to protect what little of humanity exists. Her favorite
anime and manga is the ‘SAVIORJUN’ series, loves new wave rock and her boyfriend
Cinnamon.
Flan Nougatt (The Queen of Her Fandom’s Legacy): A cute girl
who may seem like the shy type, but is usually nose-deep in either a graphic novel or
a video game, and is one of the only other people who is close to Pecan. She’s full of
advice, be it helpful or be it useless knowledge on anime and manga. She’s the
person who got Pecan into ‘SAVIORJUN’ ages ago, and will even go on record to say
she ‘loves the entire series, except for the atrocious SaviorComets saga’. She loves
manga, imported video games, and fan fiction.
Cinnamon Basil (The Window into the Future): A rather
handsome movie expert who’s usually seen with Pecan. A peculiar trait about him is
that he can somewhat foretell a future which pretty much leads him into trouble… a
lot. Loves hard-boiled action films, karaoke, and his girlfriend Pecan.
Spicy Jalapina (A Headstrong Warrior Who Leaps Before
She Looks): Just a wandering demoness who comes off as a lewd punk. She would
much rather enjoy a good brawl than solve anything with actual thinking. She claims
she only joined up with S7 just so she could cause havoc, not really giving a damn
about their ambitions, let alone anything else. Not one to take her work seriously, she
tends to get herself into the worst situations. It is said that she ruined some high
school girl’s life to the point of life trauma before joining the S7. She likes spicy food,
fire, and luchalibre.
French Vanilla (The Southern Dandy of Hell): A
succubus with a wild streak, a southern accent, and a rather voluptuous figure. The
self-proclaim 'cool chick' of the group, she's known for her hard-hitting attacks and
wit. Is a fan of hard rock, loves beaches, and drinking.
Bitter Almond (The Devil without Haste): The "baby" of
the group. Despite her love for guns, explosions and landmines, she's really pretty
naive, has a childish nature, and is considered the nicest out of the Sexilicious Seven
(She only joined because her friend Maple did.) but she gets picked on by the others
a lot, and is somewhat a ditz. Is a fan of pop, loves the life of a ganguro, and is a fan
of shonen-ai.
Sugoi Maple (The Reaper Without Regret): As Pecan stands for
Love, Justice and the geeky way, Maple stands for Hate, Chaos and the lifestyle of
“perfection”. Though she bosses the other S7 members around, her only personal
goal is a simple one at that - a fight with Pecan. Though no one really asked how or
why, the two have been rivals for a very long time. The day Pecan dies at her hands is
the day she can finally rest. Despite her “proper” manner, she can be a bit on the
petty side. She likes perfecting herself, trance music, and cats. Lots and lots of cats.
