Do not exceed the safe working load for the given application.
Always maintain a safety line independent of the main line.
All Arachnipod feet must be secured to prevent unwanted movement.
It is a good practice to ensure that all rigging is capable of holding the entire weight of the
main load.

risk.
Principles of Edge Management
Edge management is the assessment of the rigging task to ensure that the load can be
maneuvered over the edge. Rigging to provide a high change of direction is the key to successfully
managing an edge. The Arachnipod is a tool that can be used to achieve a high change of
direction.
