1 1. Command Modes CLI (Command Line Interface) The CLI (command line interface) for Moxa switches can be accessed through either the serial console or Telnet console. For either type of connection, access to the command line interface is generally referred to as an EXEC session. Configuring a Switch to CLI Mode The default configuration mode for both the serial console and Telnet console is MENU mode. To change the Moxa switch to CLI configuration mode, Login Mode from Basic Settings and then press y to activate the change. You will then be able to view the CLI display in the console. (Note that the default login user name is admin, without a password.) 1. Select Basic Settings. 2. Select Login mode.
