blendingatlowestspeed.

stickersfromyourBlender.
Besureallparts(listedunderFeatures)ofyournewappliancehave
beenincludedbeforediscardinganypackagingmaterials.Youmay
wanttokeeptheboxandpackingmaterialsforuseatalaterdate.
BeforeusingyourOsterTMBlenderforthefirsttime,removeany
dustfromshippingbywipingthebase,cover,andcontrolswitha

Speed Modes
• ToblendinHighSpeed,dialControlKnobclockwisetothefarthest
setting.
• ToblendinMediumSpeed,dialControlKnobclockwisehalfway
throughthespeedselection.
• ToblendinLowSpeed,dialControlKnobclockwise¼oftheway
throughthespeedselection.
• ToStopblending,turnleftto“OFF”.Themotorwillcometoastop.
• Youcanmovebetweenspeedsatanytimewhileblendingbyturning
theControlKnobleftorright.Thenewspeedwillstartwithout
interruption.
• TurnControlKnobcounterclockwisetothe“PULSE”settingwillgivea
momentarypulseathighspeed.Themotorwillthenstopwhenreleased.

To Use The Pulse Setting
The“PULSE”settingmomentarilyactivatestheblenderatHIGHspeed.
YoumayalsocontinuouslymovetheControlKnobto“PULSE”.
•Topulse,turntheControlKnobcounterclockwiseto“PULSE”toactivate
amomentaryhighspeed.Theblenderwillrunathighspeedaslongas
youholdtheknob.Themotorwillstopwhenyoureleasetheknob.
Tips
•Putliquidsinthejarfirst,unlessarecipesaysotherwise.
•Crushingice:Crushapproximately3cupsoficeatatimewith2cups
ofliquidforoptimalresults.
•Donotremovethelidwhileinuse.Removefillercaptoaddsmaller
ingredients.
•Thisblenderhasbeendesignedtogentlyprocessfoodswhenoperating
atlowspeeds.Ifbladesdonotrotateduringoperation,simplychoose
ahigherspeed.
•Thisblenderwillnotmashpotatoes,whipeggwhitesorsubstitute
dairytoppings,mixstiffdoughorgrindrawmeat.
Hot Foods
•OpentheFillerCaptoventsteam.TiltFillerCapawayfromyou.
Keephandsawayfromthecoveropeningtopreventpossibleburns.
•Whenworkingwithhotliquids,removeFillerCapandstartblending
atalowspeed.Thenmovetoafasterspeed.DONOTaddliquidover
the4cup(1liter)level.
Care & Cleaning
To keep your OsterTM product looking new and to remove fingerprints:
WhentheOsterTMproductisnotinuse,pleasewipetheoutsideofunit
withwarmwaterorstainlesssteelappliancecleaner,thenwipeanddry.
IMPORTANT: Place Control Knob to OFF position and unplug
power cord before cleaning base. Do not immerse the blender-base in
water or any other liquids.
Useadamp,softspongewithmilddetergenttocleantheoutsideofthe
blenderbaseandcontrolpanel.Allpartsexceptfortheblenderbaseare
dishwashersafe.Placesealingringinbottombasketofdishwasher.You
canalsowashthepartsinwarm,soapywater.Rinsewellanddry.
Storing
Aftercleaning,reassemblebladetojarwithsealingringandthreaded
jarbottom.Storeblenderwithcoverajartopreventcontainerodor.

What are the limits on JCS’s Liability?
JCS shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused by the breach of any
express,impliedorstatutorywarrantyorcondition.
Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty or condition of
merchantabilityorfitnessforaparticularpurposeislimitedindurationtothedurationoftheabove
warranty.
