Chapter 3 - Measuring with the DOCSIS Analyzer 21 A last innovation can block the 2.0 analyzer from functioning and that is the extension of the upstream frequencies in US-DOCSIS through moving the upper limit from 42 MHz to 85 MHz. This is however not valid for EURO-DOCSIS and is also rarely used. As a result it can be said that the DOCSIS 2.0 analyzer will work in most 3.0 networks.
