External awning blinds are the perfect way to keep
a room cool by reducing the amount of heat entering

South facing roof windows the blind stops the heat from
the sun reaching the glass and radiating into the room.

window, the awning is made from weather resistant net
fabric. When not in use the external blind rolls up and is
kept out of sight. For additional light control and comfort,

Operation
VELUX awning blinds are available in manual, electric
(for use with VELUX INTEGRA® electric roof windows)
or solar powered operation (for use with solar or manual
roof windows). The manual awning blind can either
be rolled fully up or fully down. To roll down, rotate
the roof window 180° and fix to the hooks on the
bottom of the sash. Electric awning blinds put heat
control at your fingertips and can be controlled from
anywhere in the room. The solar awning blind comes
complete with a battery operated remote control.
