To fit a new lamp carry out the procedure in reverse.
NOTICE
Only hold lamp at lamp holder. Avoid touching the glass, as
substances on the skin can bake onto the lamp bulb and thus
accelerate the ageing process of the lamp.
1. Connect a new lamp with the connector.
2. Replace the lamp along with the connector into the lamp
holder.
3. Secure the lamp with the clamp slide. To do this, push the
connector downwards and push the clamp slide as far as
possible to the left.
4. Replace the lamp holder into the instrument.
Note: Take care that the lamp cable is not pinched by the cable
guide.
5. Using a cross-head screwdriver, tighten the two lamp holder
screws.
6. Replace the lamp cover.
7. Using a slot-head screwdriver tighten the cover screws.
8. Connect the power cable to the instrument.
9. Reset the lamp operating time Section 6.8.8, page 122.
