Application Data Folders –
This allows the user to override
the default location of documents
(aircraft descriptions, flight plans,
flight tracks, weather briefings and
reports) and data (raster charts,
background data, LandSat images,
and vector chart data). If you have
different storage locations you wish
to use, you may identify them for
the software.
Note: The file locations in this
example are from Windows Vista
and Windows 7 data structure. For
Windows XP the document folder
would be in C:\Documents and
Setting\Administrator\My
documents\FlightPrep\. The data
files would be in C:\Documents and
Settings\All Users\Application
Data\FlightPrep\.
This concludes the narrative on the Preferences Tabs that are included in the four products
that include flight planning – Golden Eagle FlightPrep, Golden Eagle Plus, ChartKey EFB, and
ChartCase Pro. The remaining tabs are applicable to the in-flight mode only and are only
available in ChartKey EFB and ChartCase Pro.
