General mounting assistance for the hydraulic method
The use of FAG pressure generation
devices is not restricted to the
mounting of rolling bearings.
Other press fits (e.g. in the mounting of gears, drive wheels and
couplings) can also be realised by
means of the hydraulic method,
for example using FAG hydraulic
nuts that are driven by FAG pressure
generation devices.
Considerable pressing forces are
often required in general machine
building and especially in
shipbuilding. Such forces can be
applied cost-effectively using
FAG hydraulic nuts.
