Common Firmware Environment (CFE) Functional Specification 8.5.4 CFE_CMD_FW_GETTIME Obtain system time and call internal polling functions. This routine can be used to obtain CFE’s idea of the system time (see the timer manager for details). It also causes the internal device polling routines to be run, so boot loaders should periodically call this service to ensure that network timeouts occur and packets are processed.
