Launch of MELCloud for Ecodan Air to Water Products
Mitsubishi Electric is delighted to announce the launch of MELCloud for Ecodan air to water
products. MelCloud is a new “cloud based” solution for controlling Mitsubishi Electric Ecodan
heating systems either locally or remotely by PC, Mac,Tablet or Smartphone (Apple,
Samsung, Microsoft, Blackberry and many more), giving easy remote access and control via
the Internet.
MELCloud is designed to provide extensive user and device coverage and works with the
majority of Internet browsers from Microsoft, Google, Apple and others. The application will
automatically detect screen size and resize accordingly.
Apple and Android Apps are now downloadable from European ITunes and Google Play
stores, all free of charge.

Key functions such as heating set point, hot water, holiday mode are controllable and
temperature and operation monitoring functions are also available. The service is available
throughout Europe, and the application has been designed with the majority of European
languages supported at release.
MELCloud will operate on all FTC4 products and requires a Wi-Fi adaptor PAC-WF010-E
Interface (SAP number 268631, cost £72) and a wireless router connection (WPS connection
function required).
A firmware update for existing FTC4 stock is also required and this update may be carried
out using the SD function within FTC4.
