GENERAL TECHNICAL DETAILS
Synthesized UHF 10 Channel capable of two way portable Transreceiver with 1-4 watt
adjustable RF out put , communication range 4 KM Maximum ,with rapid charger with high
capacity rechargable battery & battery charger suitable for 230 AC Volt 50 HZ power supply
.The set should have features such as adjustable programmable power level, Synthesized &
field programme, Multiple Coded Squelch capacibility Pl/DPL , Timer out timer, full bandwidth
operation , channel spacing 12,5 kHz / 25 kHz , battery saver / low battery monitoring , Belt &
Clip provision etc. (Make & Model of MOTOROLA & KANWOOD are only acceptable)
The make / model offered should be with open frequency band and frequency band width
should be approved by Wireless Planning & Co-ordination Wing of Ministry of Communication
Govt of India.Tenderer shall submit a copy of confirmation from the appropriate statutory
authority / government notification for the open frequency band width and further frequency
allotment is not required in case sets are moved placed to place within India .
The sets are intended to be used at our construction project site in the vicinity of metallic
structure height around 100 Mtrs , other structural covered buildings , surrounding of extra high
voltage lines, and set should be capable to communicate from ground level to 100 mtrs above
from ground level . Tender shall demonstrate the performance with voice clarity at one the
project site as per BHEL.
Tenderer should have valid Authorized Dealership license from the original manufacturer or from
their Indian sole representative. A copy of the license should be submitted along with the offer.
Tenderer should submit their offer as per Guideline & Rules of Wireless Planning & Coordination Wing of Ministry of Communication Govt of India.
Tenderer shall arrange license for the sets supplied in the Name of "Bharat Heavy Electricals
Limited , Power Sector western region , Nagpur" from Wireless Planning & Co-ordination Wing of
Ministry of Communication Govt Of India

Tenderer shall remit all the statutory fees to W.P.C. as applicable towards license / Royalty ,
however the same shall Reimburse by BHEL at actual on submission the proof for remittance

It is the responsibility of the Tenderer to do all necessary lisioning with W.P.C. towards obtaining
the license on behalf on BHEL within the quoted rate.

Tenderer shall demonstrate the features of the set at BHEL Site location.
