______________________________________________QV300 Query the duration of a recorded message The module can return the duration of a message previously recorded. To query the duration of message, The PC must send the following two-byte packet: First Byte Second Byte 239 (0xef) Query duration of recorded message n Where n is the message number (1-255 inclusive). The module will return two bytes corresponding to the duration of the recorded message. If the duration of a non-existent message is requested, the module will return two zero bytes. The bytes are returned as low byte followed by hi-byte. The bytes together form a 16 bit number, which corresponds to the duration of the recorded message in seconds. The received bytes must be combined and adjusted to give the duration in seconds. The bytes can be combined and adjusted as follows. duration (seconds) = ((hi-byte x 256) + low-byte) /100 The /Busy and /LED lines will go low for the duration of this command. 2002 J.E.E., Quadravox, Inc (Preliminary) 18
