7. Bioreactor
Filled with hollow plastic beads where the growth of microorganisms occurs.
8. P2 Gear Pump
Delivers the required volume of dilution water to the circulation loop and bioreactor.
9. “Discharge Blocked” Pressure Switch
Prevents over-pressurization of the bioreactor.
10. P1 Peristaltic Pump
Delivers the required volume of sample to the circulation loop and bioreactor.
11. E1 O2 Probe
Measures the O2 concentration in the bioreactor.
12. Sweeper
Prevents the hollow plastic growth rings from plugging the exit of the bioreactor.
