Settings
Double Pressing the Power/Home Key
Mute/pause: Set the Gear to mute incoming
calls or alarms, or to pause media playback
by covering the screen with your palm.
Use Remote Connection
Set actions to be performed when you press the
Gear’s Power/Home key twice.
Set the Gear to remotely connect to the
smartphone when a Bluetooth connection
between the devices is not available. Refer to
Remote Connection for more information.
► On the Apps screen of the smartphone,
tap Samsung Gear > Settings > Double
pressing home key, and then select an
option.
► On the Apps screen of the smartphone, tap
Samsung Gear > Settings and tap Use
Remote connection.
Motions
Select motion recognition features to use.
► On the Apps screen of the smartphone, tap
Samsung Gear > Settings > Motions.
• Wake-up gesture: Set the Gear to recognize
your gesture to wake up the Gear and show
the clock or the last page you accessed
when the screen is turned off. You can select
which screen to display. Refer to Display for
more information.
