10.Ensure that you add the AE title, port number and IP address (or hostname) of the
workstation on which the Planmed Nuance Acquire application is installed on the
destination workstation and servers.
To add a device:
1. On the DICOM Nodes tab, click Add.
2. Complete the text fields with the appropriate information:
3. AE Title — SCU/SCP application entity title. This field is mandatory.
4. Alias — AE Title alias. This field is optional.
5. Description — DICOM device description (e.g., MRI_UNIT, Archive). This field is
optional.
6. Host Name/IP Address — name or IP address of the host where the DICOM device
resides. This field is mandatory.
7. DICOM Port — SCU/SCP socket port number. This field is mandatory.
8. Click OK to close the Add Device dialog box.
9. Click Save.
