AT&T Code Scanner
AT&T Code Scanner allows you to scan two-dimensional (QR
and datamatrix codes) and one-dimensional (UPC and EAN)
barcodes found in magazines, stores, and online.
1. From a Home screen, touch
Apps ➔
AT&T
Code Scanner.
6. Position your tablet approximately 6-8 inches from the
barcode. Ensure that the barcode is completely within
the window as shown below. Keep your tablet steady
for best results.
Note: The first time you use the AT&T Code Scanner, you
download the updated application from the Play Store.
When the Play Store page displays, touch Update. For
more information, refer to “Play Store” on page 170.
2. Sign on to your Google account if you are not already
signed on. For more information, refer to “Setting Up
Your Gmail Account” on page 97.
3. Read the Terms and Conditions and touch Accept to
continue.
4. Touch OK at the Location prompt to activate your
location.
5. At the My Profile screen, touch Done to enter profile
information or touch Cancel to bypass.
7. The scanner automatically scans the barcode. It may
take several seconds.
8. After the scan, touch Yes to open the web page to view
the information on the scanned barcode.
