This Chapter is designed to quickly get your FastTrak TX2200/2300 or 4200/
4300 Serial ATA RAID Controller card up and running using the default settings,
which will be optimal for most users.
If you wish to modify any of the default settings, please refer to Chapter 3:
FastBuild™ Configuration Utility on page 19.
Unpack Your FastTrak Card
When you receive the FastTrak Serial ATA RAID card, the package should
contain the items listed below:

FastTrak TX2200/2300 or TX4200/4300 Serial ATA RAID Controller card
•
Quick Start Guide
•
0.65 m (26 inch) Serial ATA data cables. Two 1.5 Gb cables for TX2200, two
3.0 Gb cables for TX2300, four 1.5 Gb cables for TX4200, four 3.0 Gb cables
for TX4300
•
Y power splitter cable, one for TX2200/2300, two for TX4200/4300
•
CD with Promise Array Management (PAM) software, Windows drivers, PAM
User Manual and FastTrak TX2200/2300 / TX4200/4300 User Manual
If ANY of the contents are missing or appear to be damaged, please contact your
dealer or distributor immediately.
