BlackBond systems contains a four position DIP Switch which is accessible by removing the unit rear
panel and sliding out the motherboard.
The default setting for all DIP switches is OFF.
Switch 1
Powering cycling the unit with DIP Switch 1 ON forces the BlackBond to return to factory default settings. Factory settings include operation from Base Flash and deleting any downloaded upgrades.
Ensure Switch 1 is returned to the OFF position after clearing an upgrade so future upgrades can
be performed successfully. Switch 1 can also be used to reset the password. (Be sure the unit is not
power cycled while switch is OFF or previous upgrades will be lost).
Switch 2
Must be set in the OFF position.
Switch 3
Switch 3 is used during manufacturing. The switch must be set to OFF for normal operation.
Switch 4
An ON setting is used only by the manufacture for quality assurance. The switch must be in OFF
position for normal operation.
