A faster way of finding a patient is using the Search button. Pressing it will extend the screen
with additional controls to find a patient (Figure 13). Note that the name of the button
changed to Close. Pressing the button again will close the extra search functions. Type the
patient’s surname in the Enter Surname to Search On: box. Then press the Go button. This
will display all the patients in the database with that surname in the list below the Go
button. You can now select a patient from this list and his/her details will be shown in the
fields on the left of the screen.
