As the PDQ Girlz were wearing tutu’s, he had one special fied. Then with a pink ribbon here and pink beads there he was ready. Very early on November 15th, Chopper pa%ently stood in line at SeaTac Airport for the x-ray scan (as he refused to remove the pins, gadgets and other mementos of his travels from his aSre). He was appalled to find out his shiQs started at 4:00 am and did not finish un%l 10:00 pm. During the event, Chopper helped cheer on the 2,500+ walkers as they leQ camp each day and welcome them back each evening; made sure they were fed; muscles and blisters aended to; and entertained. Chopper earned his “Crew 2012” buon. On the last morning Chopper met up with the Harley’s that provided traffic control for a quick photo- op. As soon as the last walker leQ camp, Chopper and the rest of the crew began breaking down camp. The goal was to leave the area more pris%ne than you found it. Surprisingly, there was very lile trash leQ behind by the 3,000+ walkers and support January 2013 Puget Sound H.O.G. 2052 Newsleer page 23
