The pressure/vacuum pump is fitted with neoprene diaphragms which should be replaced at
2500 hour intervals to enhance System reliability.
1. (See FIGURE 5-1) Remove the System from the hospital cart. Remove the right side cover
and the left lower cover from the System. Remove the two nuts at the rear of the pump
compartment and remove the pressure and vacuum lines through the access hole
provided. Remove the two screws at the base of the pump assembly and slide the pump
housing out. Remove the 14 screws that retain the cover and remove the cover.
