ENGINE LUBRICATION SYSTEM 7-13 Oil Pressure Switch Oil Pressure Switch Removal • Remove: Lower Fairing (see Lower Fairing Removal in the Frame chapter) Switch Cover [A] Switch Terminal [B] Oil Pressure Switch [C] Oil Pressure Switch Installation silicone sealant to the threads of the oil pressure • Apply switch and tighten it. Sealant - Kawasaki Bond (Silicone Sealant): 56019-120 Torque - Oil Pressure Switch: 15 N·m (1.5 kgf·m, 11 ft·lb) • Tighten the oil pressure switch terminal bolt. Torque - Oil Pressure Switch Terminal Bolt: 1.5 N·m (0.15 kgf·m, 13 in·lb) ○Install the oil pressure switch lead [A] as shown. • Front [B] 45° [C] Apply grease to the terminal.
