2015 Training Program Information
Training Overview:
With our state-of-the-art training facility, Door Controls USA, Inc. is committed to the
future of the automatic door industry and door technicians. We offer a one-week training
class consisting of three days of Quick Start Level 1 Automatic Door Training, followed
by two days of AAADM Inspector Certification. In addition, we now offer Quick Start
Level 2 and Revolving Door Training classes. See below for more information.
All classes 8a – 5p Monday-Thursday. 12 noon release on Fridays.
Quick Start Level 1 – Automatic Door Training Program –
3 Day QS w/ 2 Day AAADM
- Basic electronics, sensors, controls and motor/gearbox
- Activation, safety and adjustments
- Troubleshooting tips, how to isolate the system
- Hands-on and problem simulation on actual test doors
- Covers all of the most common brands in our industry
- Get AAADM Certified to the ANSI A156.10, A156.19 and A156.38
Quick Start Level 2 – Beyond the Basics – 3 Day QS 2 w/ 2 Day AAADM
- Newer advanced microprocessor controls and how to program them
- Covers Stanley MC521, Dorma ED700, Record 8100, GT 1175, and others
- Class may be customized per subject based on student request
- Integrated systems: modules and sensors
- Hands-on adjustments, problem simulation, and troubleshooting tips
- Get AAADM Certified to the ANSI A156.10, A156.19 and A156.38
Revolver Classes – 3 Day Revolver w/ 2 Day AAADM
- Getting started with revolving doors
- Troubleshooting and system isolation
- PLC’s, frequency drives, controls and motor gear/box
- Get AAADM certified to the ANSI A156.27
