Hoses and Clamps - Inspect/Replace

(1) Rear low-pressure fuel lines
(2) Front low-pressure fuel lines
Inspect hoses (1, 2) of the engine fuel system for the
following conditions.
Replace any hose which exhibits any of the following
conditions.
• Hoses which are cracked
• Hoses which are soft
• Outer covering that is chafed or cut
• Outer covering that is ballooning locally
• Flexible part of the hose that is kinked or crushed
• Hoses which exhibit signs of leakage which are not
the result of loose couplings or clamps
Inspect all hose couplings for leaks. Replace any
hose that exhibits signs of coupling leakage.
