The Leica LMD6500/7000 should be used in a
room that is free from dust, oil, chemical fumes
and extreme humidity. Vibrations, direct sunlight
and major temperature fluctuations should also
be avoided at the workplace.
Ambient conditions:
Temperature
20°-35°C
Relative humdity 20-80% up to 35°C
Please compare the delivery carefully with
the packing note, delivery note or invoice. We
strongly recommend you keep a copy of these
documents with the manual, so that you have information on the time and scope of the delivery
later when ordering more equipment or when the
microscope is serviced. Make sure that no small
parts are left in the packing material. Some of our
packing material has symbols indicating environment-friendly recycling.
Microscopes in warm and humid climates need
special care to prevent fungus growth.
Please also read the instructions on the installation site in the microscope manual!
Attention!
Lamphousings and lasers must be installed
at least 10 cm away from walls and other inflammable objects.

Achtung!
The Leica LMD6500/7000 must not be placed in
close proximity to an air-conditioning system and
it must not be exposed to any direct air draft.
Note:
Keep the packing material for storage and transport of the Leica LMD6500/7000 and its accessories.

Attention!
Avoid touching optical surfaces if possible.
Any fingerprints on glass surfaces should be
removed with a soft leather or linen cloth. Even
slight traces of finger perspiration can soon attack the surfaces of optical instruments.
Caution!
On no account should you connect the laser and peripherals to the mains before the
whole system has been assembled!
