Informazione agli utenti
Ai sensi dell’art. 13 del decreto
legislativo 25 luglio 2005, n. 15
“Attuazione delle Direttive 2002/95/CE,
2002/96/CE e 2003/108/CE, relative
alla riduzione dell’uso di sostanze
pericolose nelle apparecchiature
elettriche ed elettroniche, nonché allo
smaltimento dei rifiuti“.
Il simbolo del cassonetto barrato
riportato sull’apparecchiatura indica che il prodotto
alla fine della propria vita utile deve essere raccolto
separatamente dagli altri rifiuti.
L’utente dovrà, pertanto, conferire l’apparecchiatura
giunta a fine vita agli idonei centri di raccolta differenziata
dei rifiuti elettronici ed elettrotecnici, oppure riconsegnarla
al rivenditore al momento dell’acquisto di una nuova
apparecchiatura di tipo equivalente, in ragione di uno a
uno.
L’adeguata raccolta differenziata per l’avvio successivo
dell’apparecchiatura dismessa al riciclaggio, al
trattamento e allo smaltimento ambientalmente
compatibile contribuisce ad evitare possibili effetti
negativi sull’ambiente e sulla salute e favorisce il riciclo
dei materiali di cui è composta l’apparecchiatura.
Lo smaltimento abusivo del prodotto da parte dell’utente
comporta l’applicazione delle sanzioni amministrative di
cui al D. Lgs. n. 22/1997”(articolo 50 e seguenti del D.
Lgs. n. 22/1997).

Garanzia
Il costruttore garantisce che questo prodotto sarà privo
di difetti di costruzione o materiale in condizioni di uso
normale per un periodo di ventiquattro mesi, fatta salva
l’osservanza delle istruzioni di utilizzo e manutenzione. La
garanzia decorre dalla data di acquisto dell’apparecchio
presso il rivenditore.
Condizioni di garanzia
1.Qualora fosse necessario usufruire delle prestazioni di
garanzia siete pregati di rivolgervi al rivenditore presso
il quale avete acquistato l’apparecchio.
2.Per potere usufruire della garanzia, l’utente dovrà
presentare la prova di acquisto del prodotto costituita
dalla copia della fattura originale oppure dallo
scontrino rilasciato dal rivenditore o da una relativa
conferma. Il numero di serie dell’apparecchio deve
essere leggibile.
3.Lenus Srl a suo insindacabile giudizio si riserva di
assolvere i propri obblighi riparando o sostituendo il
prodotto, se necessario, anche con un prodotto con
prestazioni identiche o superiori, oppure sostituendo
le parti difettose. Prestazioni di garanzia, riparazione
o sostituzione di singole parti o di componenti non
comportano un prolungamento del periodo di garanzia
originario. Dopo la riparazione le parti sostituite
permangono direttamente presso Lenus Srl oppure
presso il centro assistenza convenzionato.
4.La garanzia è limitata ai difetti di materiale e
costruzione. Ciò esclude:
- controlli periodici, tarature, aggiornamenti software,
manutenzione o conversione, sostituzione di parti
soggette a normale usura;
- danni causati da incidenti, negligenza, modifiche,
uso improprio o da una installazione non eseguita a
regola d‘arte;
- danni causati da fulmini, sovratensioni, liquidi,
fuoco, atti di guerra, atti vandalici, messa a terra
non corretta/insufficiente o assente, areazione
insufficiente oppure da altre cause non imputabili a
Lenus Srl;
- danni causati da interventi di riparazione effettuati
da centri di assistenza non autorizzati/persone non
autorizzate e/o dall’utilizzo di parti di ricambio non
originali;
- prodotti sui quali l’etichetta riportante il numero di
serie è stata rimossa o resa illegibile;
- spese di viaggio e costi derivanti dalla disinstallazione/
installazione dell’apparecchio.
5.Spese derivanti da interventi di riparazione in garanzia
effettuati da centri di servizio non autorizzati o da
persone non autorizzate non vengono rimborsate.
6.Tutte le spese relative ad interventi e richieste alla
cui base non vi sia un difetto del prodotto sono a
carico dell’utente. Ciò vale anche per gli oneri legati
all’installazione ed all‘illustrazione delle norme d’uso
dell’apparecchio.
7.La Lenus Srl declina qualsiasi responsabilità legata
alla perdita indiretta o conseguente di accessori o di
danni causati a quest’ultimi.
8.Le presenti condizioni di garanzia lasciano
impregiudicati i diritti previsti a favore del consumatore
secondo disposizioni del Codice del Consumo (D.Lgs
206/2005) o da altre disposizioni legislative nazionali.

Safety Instructions and Precautions
1. MAINS SUPPLY
5V DC / 1A through USB
Operate this product only from the type of supply indicated
on the marking label. Disconnect the product from the
mains before you start any maintenance or installation
procedures.
2. OVERLOADING
Do not overload a wall outlet, extension cord or adapter
as this may result in electric fire or shock.
3. LIQUIDS
The product should not be exposed to liquid of any kind.
In addition, no objects filled with liquid should be placed
on the apparatus.
4. CLEANING
Separete the product from the power supply before
cleaning. Use a light damp cloth (no solvents) to dust
the product.
6. ATTACHMENTS
Do not use any unsupported attachments as these may
be hazardous or cause damage to the product.
9. LOCATION
Place the product indoors to avoid exposing it to lightning,
rain or sun. Do not place it near a radiator or heat register.
Make sure it has more than 10 cm clearance from any
appliances susceptible to electromagnetic influences,
such as a TV or a VCR. Do not block the openings with
any object, and do not place the product on a bed, sofa,
rug, or other similar surface. If you place the product
on a rack or a bookcase, ensure that there is adequate
ventilation and that you have followed the manufacturer‘s
instructions for mounting. Do not place the product on an
unstable cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table where it can
fall. A falling product can cause serious injury to a child or
adult, and serious damage to the appliance.
10. LIGHTNING, STORM, or NOT IN USE
Unplug the product from the power supply during a
thunderstorm or when left unattended and unused for
long periods of time. This will prevent damage to the unit
due to lightning and power-surges.

Questo apparecchio é stato prodotto in accordo agli
standard di sicurezza internazionali. Si prega di leggere
attentamente le seguenti precauzioni di sicurezza.
Istruzioni di sicurezza e precauzioni
1. ALIMENTAZIONE RETE
5V DV / 1A contro USB
Collegare questo prodotto solamente ad una rete di
alimentazione elettrica avente le caratteristiche indicate
sulla relativa etichetta. In caso di incertezze sul tipo di
alimentazione rete della propria abitazione consultare
l’azienda elettrica locale. Scollegare il prodotto dalla rete
di alimentazione prima di effettuare qualsiasi procedura di
manutenzione o collegamento.
3. LIQUIDI
Il prodotto non deve essere esposto a liquidi di alcun
tipo. Evitare inoltre di appoggiare oggetti riempiti di liquidi
sopra o vicino al prodotto.
4. PULIZIA
Scollegare il prodotto dalla alimentazione prima di pulirlo.
Usare un panno leggermente umido (senza solventi) per
spolverare il prodotto.
6. ACCESSORI
Non collegare al prodotto apparecchi differenti da quelli
previsti, in quanto potrebbe risultare pericoloso o causa
di danni.
9. POSIZIONAMENTO
Posizionare il prodotto all’interno onde evitare
l’esposizione a fulmini, pioggia o sole.
Non posizionarlo in prossimità di termosifoni o altre fonti
di calore.
Assicurarsi che sia distante almeno 10 cm da apparecchi
sensibili ad interferenze elettromagnetiche, come ad
esempio VCR.
Non bloccare le aperture con oggetti e non posizionare il
prodotto su letti, divani, coperte o superfici simili.
Se il prodotto viene installato in un rack oppure in
un mobile, assicurarsi di avere seguito le istruzioni
di montaggio del produttore e che la ventilazione sia
adeguata.
Non posizionare il prodotto su carrelli, piedistalli, treppiedi,
mensole o tavoli instabili, dai quali potrebbe cadere. La
caduta del prodotto può essere causa di seri danni a
bambini o adulti, oltre che al prodotto stesso.
10. FULMINI, TEMPESTE O INUTILIZZO
Scollegare il prodotto dall’alimentazione durante
tempeste o quando incustodito o inutilizzato per lunghi
periodi. Ciò serve a prevenire danni causati da fulmini o
scariche di rete.

Verbraucherinformation
Betreffend die „Anwendung der
Direktiven 2002/95/CE, 2002/96/CE
und 2003/108/CE, hinsichtlich der
Reduzierung gefährlicher Substanzen
in elektrischen und elektronischen
Geräten, sowie der Entsorgung von
Abfällen.“
Das Symbol des durchkreuzten Abfallkübels auf dem
Gerät weisst darauf hin, dass letzteres am Ende seiner
Lebensdauer von anderen Abfällen getrennt gesammelt
werden muss.
Demnach ist der Endverbraucher verpflichtet, das Gerät,
nach Ablauf dessen Lebensdauer, geeigneten Zentren
für getrennte Müllsammlung von elektronischen und
elektrotechnischen Abfällen zu übergeben. Alternativ
kann der Endverbraucher beim Kauf eines äquivalenten
neuen Produktes dem Händler das zu entsorgende Gerät,
gemäss dem Prinzip eins gegen eins, übergeben.
Eine fachgerechte differenzierte Sammlung des nicht
mehr verwendeten Gerätes zwecks umweltgerechten
Recycling‘s, Verwertung oder Entsorgung, trägt dazu
bei negative Auswirkungen auf die Umwelt und die
Gesundheit zu vermeiden. Weiters wird die Verwertung
der Materialien, aus denen das Gerät besteht, gefördert.
Eine widerrechtliche Entsorgung des Gerätes seitens
des Endverbrauchers bewirkt die Anwendung von
Verwaltungsstrafen.

Garantie
Der Hersteller garantiert, dass dieses Produkt
bei normalem Gebrauch für einen Zeitraum von
vierundzwanzig Monaten frei von Verarbeitungs- und
Materialfehlern ist, vorausgesetzt, die Betriebs- und
Wartungsanweisungen werden strikt befolgt. Die
Garantiezeit beginnt mit dem Kauf des Gerätes beim
Fachhändler.
Garantiebestimmungen
1. Sollte es erforderlich werden Garantieleistungen in
Anspruch zu nehmen, wenden Sie sich bitte an den
Fachhändler, bei dem Sie das Gerät erworben haben.
2. Bei der Anmeldung von Garantieansprüchen muss
der Kunde eine Kopie der Originalrechnung oder den
vom Händler ausgestellten Kassenbeleg oder eine
entsprechende Bestätigung vorlegen. Die Serienummer
am Gerät muss lesbar sein.
3. Es liegt im Ermessen von Lenus, ob die Garantie
durch Reparatur oder durch Austausch des
Gerätes, falls notwendig auch mit einem gleichoder höherwertigen Gerät, bzw. durch Austausch
des defekten Teils erfüllt wird. Garantieleistungen,
Reparaturen oder der Austausch einzelner Teile und
Komponenten, bewirken keine Verlängerung des
ursprünglichen Garantieanspruches. Ausgetauschte
Teile verbleiben nach der Reparatur direkt bei Lenus,
bzw. der Vertragswerkstatt. Diese Teile werden nur
dann retourniert, wenn der entsprechende Antrag bei
Erteilung des Reparaturauftrages gestellt wird.
4. Die Garantie beschränkt sich auf Material-, sowie
Verarbeitungsfehler. Hiervon ausgeschlossen sind:
- p eriodische Kontrollen, Einstellungen, SoftwareUpdates, Wartung oder Konversion, Austausch von
Teilen die einer natürlichen Abnutzung unterworfen
sind;
- S chäden die durch Unfälle, Unachtsamkeit,
Modifikationen, unsachgemäße Handhabung,
sowie nicht normgerechte Installation hervorgerufen
wurden;
- S chäden die durch Blitzschlag, Überspannungen,
Flüssigkeiten, Feuer, Krieg, Vandalenakte, falsche/
ungenügende oder fehlende Erdung, ungenügende
Belüftung oder andere von Lenus nicht zu
verantwortende Gründe entstanden sind;
- S chäden die durch Reparaturen seitens nicht
autorisierter Werkstätten/Personen und/oder durch
den Einsatz nicht originaler Ersatzteile hervorgerufen
wurden;
- P rodukte von denen die Etikette mit der Seriennummer
entfernt, bzw. bei denen die Seriennummer
unkenntlich gemacht wurde.
- F ahrtkosten sowie durch den Ab- und Aufbau des
Gerätes entstandene Kosten.
5. Kosten, die während der Garantiezeit durch
Reparaturen seitens nicht autorisierter Werkstätten/

Customer information
concerning the “Application of the
Directives 2002/95/CE, 2002/96/

well as the waste disposal”.
The symbol with the crossed refuse
bin, present on the product, indicates
that the product must be collected
separately from other refuse after his lifetime is expired.
This means that the customer must hand over the product
at the end of the lifetime to an authorized collection center
for electronic and electrotechnical refuse. As an alternative
the customer can hand over the product to a dealer when
he purchases an equivalent product, accordingly to the
principle one in return for one.
A professional differentiated collection of no longer used
products for recycling, utilization or disposal, helps to
reduce negative consequences for the environment
and the health. In addition the utilization of materials
composing the product will be supported.
The illegal disposal of the product by the customer results
in the application of administrative fines.
Important notice
The informations in the present manual can be subject
to errors and modifications! The warranty does not cover
parts which may become defective due to misuse of the
information contained in this manual.
Warranty
The manufacturer warrants this product to be free of
defects in materials and workmanship under normal
conditions of use for a period of twentyfour months,
provided that operating and service instructions are
strictly observed.
Warranty conditions
1.In the event that service is needed please contact the
dealer who sold you the product.
2.In order to make a warranty claim the purchaser must
present a copy of the original invoice or the receipt or
an appropriate confirmation to the dealer. The serial
number of the product must be clearly readable.
3.Lenus LLC at its sole discretion will decide to fulfill
warranty obligations by either repairing or replacing
the product/defective parts. If necessary, the product
may be replaced with a different one having the
same or better characteristics. Services, repairs and
parts replacements during the warranty period will
not invoke an extension of the remaining warranty
period. Replaced parts will be kept by Lenus LLC or
the authorized service center.
4.The warranty is limited to defects in materials and
workmanship. This excludes:
- periodic check-ups, adjustments, maintenance or
conversions as well as replacements of parts subject
to normal wear and tear;
- d amages caused by accidents, negligence,
modifications, improper use and in case the
installation does not conform to the regulations;
- d amages caused by lightning, overvoltage, fire, acts
of war, public disturbances, worng/insufficient or
missing earthing, incorrect ventilation or any other
cause beyond the control of Lenus LLC;
- damages caused by unauthorized repair and/or use
of not original parts;
- products where the label bearing the serial number
has been removed, defaced or is illegible;
- costs of transport as well as costs resulting from
removal and installation of the product.
5. All warranty repairs performed by non authorized
repair shops/persons will not be reimbursed.
6.If a product returned for servicing is determined to not
be defective, it will be returned to the purchaser after
charging him the appropriate shipping and handling
costs. The purchaser must also pay all costs related
to the installation and function explanation of the
product.
7.Lenus LLC cannot be held responsible for indirect
or subsequent loss of additional equipment or any
damage of the latter.
8.These terms and conditions and the warranty terms
contained in them do not affect the statutory rights
of a consumer regarding faulty products. For more
informations about your statutory rights, please contact
your dealer or the citizens‘ advice bureau.

Sicherheitshinweise und -vorkehrungen
1. STROMVERSORGUNG
5V DC / 1A über USB
Betreiben Sie dieses Gerät nur an einer Stromquelle,
welche die auf dem Typenschild angegebene Spannung
liefert. Trennen Sie das Gerät von der Stromversorgung,
bevor Sie Wartungs- oder Installationsarbeiten
durchführen.
3. FLÜSSIGKEITEN
Das Gerät darf keinerlei Flüssigkeiten ausgesetzt werden.
Zudem sollten keine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Gegenstände
auf oder direkt neben das Gerät gestellt werden.
4. REINIGUNG
Tennen Sie das Gerät von der Stromversorgung, bevor
Sie mit der Reinigung beginnen. Reinigen Sie das Gerät
mit einem leicht angefeuchteten (keine Lösungsmittel
verwenden) weichen Tuch.
6. ZUBEHÖR
Schließen Sie nur ausdrücklich dafür vorgesehene
Geräte an das Gerät an. Andernfalls kann es zu
Gefahrensituationen oder Schäden am Gerät kommen.
9. AUFSTELLUNGSORT
Verwenden Sie das Gerät ausschließlich in Innenräumen,
um es vor Blitzschlag, Regen und Sonneneinstrahlung zu
schützen. Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe eines
Heizkörpers oder Warmluftgebläses auf.
Achten Sie darauf, dass der Abstand zu Geräten, welche
durch elektromagnetische Strahlungen gestört werden
können (z.B. Videorekorder), mindestens 10 cm.
Decken Sie die Belüftungsschlitze nicht ab und stellen Sie

Collegare il HDD ad un televisore
Collegare il cavo USB alla presa ingresso USB (1) del televisore
Lenuss ed alla presa uscita del HDD (2).
Il televisore Lenuss indica un messaggio video quando il HDD é
collegato giusto.
Per formattare ed usare poi il HDD il cliente é pregato di consultare il
manuale d’uso del televisore Lenuss.

Connect the USB cable to the input socket (1) of the Lenuss TV and
to the output socket of the HDD (2).
The Lenuss TV indicates a message on the display if the HDD is
connected properly.
Please consult the manual of the Lenuss TV to format the HDD and
use it for recording / playing.

Verbinden Sie das USB Kabel vom USB Eingang (1) des Lenuss TVs
zum Ausgang der HDD (2).
Auf dem Lenuss TV wird eine Meldung angezeigt sobald die HDD
richtig angeschlossen ist.
