System Security
This page allows you to improve the security of your 3G27WV-R through the SPI (Stateful Packet Inspection) firewall and remote
access settings.

OPTION
DEFINITION
Remote Management (via WAN / MBB):
Enable/Disable remote management on the WAN interface and specify the port number for remote
access.
Deny ping from WAN / MBB interface:
Select Enable to deny ICMP packets (ping packets) received on the WAN interface. Otherwise, select
“Disable” to allow ICMP packets to be received on the WAN interface.
SPI Firewall
Enable/Disable the SPI (Stateful Packet Inspection) firewall to improve the security of your 3G27WV-R.
Anti denial of service (DoS)
This feature can help prevent the flooding of the network with a denial of service attack from behind the
firewall.
