BIOS Features Setup
This section describes the configuration entries that allow you to improve your
system performance, or let you set up some system features according to your
preference. Some entries here are required by the CPU board’s design to remain
in their default settings.
Virus Warning
This option may flash on the screen. During and after the system boots up, any
attempt to write to the boot sector or partition table of the hard disk drive will halt
the system and the following error message will appear, in the mean time, you can
run an anti-virus program to locate the problem.
Available Options: Disabled, Enabled
Default setting: Disable
CPU Internal Cache
This functions speeds up memory access. The FB2510 GXM Cyrix CPU has an
internal cache.
Available options: Disabled, Enabled
Default setting: Enabled
Quick Power On Self Test
This option speeds up Power On Self Test (POST) after you power on the computer.
If it is set to Enable, BIOS will shorten or skip some items’ checks during POST.
