Duct Offsets
Toolbar menu:
Drop-down menu:
HVAC Ducting
HVAC Duct – Offset
Start by selecting the main duct type Options:
Rectangular
Round
Flat-oval
Select Offset Type:
Straight or Curved (Radius)
Now specify the offset size:
Width or Diameter
Height (for rectangular or flat-oval)
Duct wall thickness (3-D option only)
Specify the offset design: Offset Length and offset Height.
Select insulation: External, Internal or none, and insulation thickness if
applicable.
End Connections
Set the end connections ("End 1" and "End 2"drop lists). Choices include:
• None
• Flange, Flat
• Flange, Angle
• Female
Use the "Connections CFG" tab to set the connections design.
If duct centers are required - tick the "Draw duct centers" toggle - "ON:"
(2-D option Only)
To draw the duct offsets in 3D - select the "3D" toggle ON.
Use the "Draw" button when ready to draw. The utility will now prompt for
the duct offset insertion point (& direction - 3D option). The utility will now
draw the duct offset and prompts for rotation.
The cancel button terminates the utility.
