GAFCHROMIC® XR-SP2 User Guide The GAFCHROMIC XR-SP2 self-developing film has been designed as an industrial QA tool without necessitating a film processor. It has a dose range of 0.05 cGy to 20 cGy, with practically no dose fractionation or dose rate dependence effects. The recommended energy range is approximately 20 KVp to 200 KVp. The formats of the film are 8” x 10” and 10” x 12” sheets. As with all GAFCHROMIC films, it can be handled in room light, and be cut to various sizes. Please be advised that film may curl naturally due to environmental and/or production factors. To keep the GAFCHROMIC XR-SP2 film flat, before the exposure you may choose to fix it with adhesive tape, or place a GAFCHROMIC XR-EASEL over it as displayed in the photograph below:
