weapons. The 1911-22 family of firearms is manufactured
using leading edge techniques and high quality modern
materials. The 1911-22 series is patterned from one of the
most recognized handguns in the world, the 1911 SemiAutomatic designed by John Browing.
The 1911-22
however, utilizes a unique action unlike that of the
Browning design while providing similar characteristics and
feel.
It is vital that the user be familiar with his firearm and
possible safety risks that may be present in the design.
Most significantly, the user should realize that the designs
of safeties - or even the presence of adequate safeties vary significantly on historical designs and do not offer the
protection against accidental discharge that modern
firearm safeties achieve.
